Hi all, sorry for the later update again, I was waiting for a few things to wrap up before pushing one out. I spent all last week dedicated to working on the project, which was very productive.

I'm happy to announce that the Death Pays All Debts PDF is done, as is the deluxe edition network poster design!

Additionally, the What Dreams May Come bonus pamphlet is nearly complete, just awaiting an editing pass.

I will update soon with a link to download a watermarked version of the PDF for backers while we get the pledge manager set up in Backerkit (of course the clean, non-watermarked version will be distributed there when ready).

Next Steps:

I'll be working now on getting the physical copies printed and shipped to RV Games for final distribution. This will happen over the next couple weeks. We will communicate more when orders are ready to lock down and ship.

Hi all! Another late update this month but we are getting very close to the finish line. I am working on putting all the final details into layout and design for the book and poster. I have also started layout and finalizing the writing for the bonus pamphlet. Then after a copy-editing pass we will be getting printing done. Here is a WIP of a floor spread that is pretty close to the final look:

Apologies, another late update this month! May flew by. I continue to make good progress and the floor maps are now all pretty much done!

From the beginning I wanted the maps to have a blueprint-like style to them, so I've been trying to balance that abstract look vs. what items are literally present. I didn't want to clutter rooms with objects, having them be more representative than literal while still conveying useful information about what is in the room. I'm pretty happy with how they came out!

In other news, the tower network map and corresponding poster are nearly done as well. The manuscript is still undergoing editing.

All in all looking at our timeline, we are a little behind schedule, but I would say not too much.  Everything is really starting to come together and I'm excited to move into the printing stage and getting everything out to backers soon!

Hello everyone and happy (end of) April! Sorry for the late update this month, I just wanted to make sure I had something significant to share, and I do!

I got all the manuscript into layout along with a major writing pass, so now it's ready to pass off for another round of editing. Since layout is mostly complete, this means we are well on track. My next focus is getting the design of the full network map done, both for the Deluxe poster and the version that will end up in the zine, as well as finishing up the floor maps. Those and two more art pieces from Chao are the last major steps for Death Pays All Debts! 

Additionally all the patches have been created and were shipped to RV Games, I'm really happy with how they turned out.

Hi all! Another month down! Just a minor update this month, things are proceeding on schedule. Now that the initial dev edit pass is done I’m going through and getting the manuscript into layout and polishing up the writing. The final form is starting to take shape which is exciting!

Getting layout done is also helping show gaps where I can fit some more artwork, which will probably be a combo of pieces I do and some more commissions from Chao. 

Hoping by next update I’ll have some spreads more or less finalized to share. Until then, I’ll keep plugging away!
