Scion: God Community Content Tools
Did you know you can create and release your own supplements for Scion Second Edition via the Storypath Nexus Community Content site? I note this for two reasons - first, Onyx Path has just released some useful tools for those creating their own material for Scion: God:
And secondly, because the 2026 Storypath Nexus Game Jam is taking place between 9:00 pm EDT March 16th to 9:00 pm EDT April 10th, 2026. Judge and Popularity votes will take place between April 11th and the 17th, 2026. Judges are allowed to score submitted entries early to speed up the process.
During the course of the contest, judges and contestants will be encouraged to stream their design process and content.
The winners will be announced on Onyx Path Publishing’s Twitch Stream at 9pm ET on April 17th, 2026.
The Prompt for this year is “Create and Adventure”!
Work continues on our two remaning stretch goal rewards. The Jumpstart is currently in the Layout queue, just waiting for a few other projects to clear out so it can get a bit more attention to finish up. The Divine Inspiration supplement reportedly has all of the artwork completed, so will be sliding over to the layout queue shortly. We're in the home stretch for sure.

Looking at December's monthly update, 2025 was a pretty good year for Scion releases. This year looks to be all right as well! Onyx Path just released Scion: War Games on DTRPG, an adventure for Titanic Scions. There are still a copule of supplements to come from our project, and a new book is currently in final draft status - Pandora's Box of Knacks, Birthrights, and Boons. Looking forward to all of that!
But let's get to our review.

Taking a quick break in the middle of my holiday vacation to get out our last update of 2025.
All Crowdfunding Hardcover rewards have delivered! I heard from four backers after last month's update, and it looks like those four final books have all safely delivered. If you haven't received your hardcover, check out last month's instructions for how to proceed. As we slide into 2026, I'll assume that all books landed safely.
It's been a pretty good year for Scion releases! Add in some stuff that's in the process of finalizing, like the Scion: God Player's Guide and the War Games adventures from the Titans Rising campaign, and we've had lots of Scion material this year. Looking forward to more great releases in 2026!

My Scion: God hardcover Crowdfunding reward is sitting on my desk even as I type this!
For everyone who backed this crowdfunding campaign and pledged to a reward tier that included a hardcover book, your reward should have delivered weeks, if not months, ago. Next month, our shipping partners will start removing tracking data before recycling those tracking numbers into their system once again.
At this point, I believe every book has successfully delivered. And I will continue to assume that in the new year, when tracking numbers are unable to reveal a different story. So, if you've had any issues receiving your reward, please check your tracking and contact me as soon as possible so I can work on getting that resolved for you. Once we hit January 2026, I'm going to assume the book is sitting on your shelf and any notes about lost books are simple mistakes.
We've kind of had a pretty good run over the past few months, with the hardcover and companion PDF delivering, so now it's time for developers and artists to catch up on the next projects in the queue. Hopefully we'll see some movement on these in early 2026, but I'll continue to track our progress until these final two rewards are out to backers!

OK, with that update, let's get on to our next reward! Remember this Stretch Goal during the campaign? A Scion: God companion book that we added several different topics to? Well, it became the "Player's Guide" as the team hammered it into shape, and today we're going to collect on that bonus Stretch Goal reward!

This is the first version of the Scion: God Player's Guide for Scion Second Edition to be released. The design and development teams have done their best to proofread and correct any errors and typos - but some always sneak through. If you catch any typos, incorrect math, visual glitches, and the like, we want to hear about them and correct them before we send the book off to print.
With that in mind, I'd like to introduce theScion: God PGFeedback Form!

The Curseborne Player’s Guide is primarily focused on the players at the table who take on the role of individual characters. If you’re a Storyguide, you can expect to find ideas that help you prompt the other players and frame their place in the world. Use these to create details that resonate with a player’s intentions and to direct the story to places where the main characters’ themes and concepts can flourish. Other players can expect to find tools to develop your character, both in your narration and on your character sheet.
In this book, we introduce grounding concepts for playing the Accursed, providing role-playing hooks and touchstones rooted in the world they find themselves. These are intended for both brand-new players looking for a place to start and for players in the middle of a story who are open to new angles and complications. We expand on all the types of Accursed introduced in the Curseborne corebook, including those who don’t have a family to call their own, but also provide even more ways to express and wield the power of curses through new spells. We even add a new angle to the world of Curseborne as we present playable rules for the monster-hunting Venators, who contend with the same supernatural forces as the Accursed without Damnations of their own.
