I will be putting in the order for the Nyx and Athena Teacup plush very soon. So I will keep everyone updated on their production.

I was finally able to get some good photos of the weighted Nyx from the old manu. Her front claws look pretty close to the artwork finally. But I'm still not happy with how her front legs are positioned. Hoping that I will like what the new manu does body shape wise, or that they will be able to get closer to my vision. 

The Teacup version of Athena is perfect. She exudes the feral goblin energy that is Athena the barn owl Terragryff. The new manu nailed her design almost perfectly on the first try. 

The Teacup version of Nyx is way too adorable in person. I love the way her eyes look like they are glowing. Once we had gotten the body shape perfected with Athena, Nyx was easy for them to do. Check out her toe beans on her back feet.

--- Comparison between the old and new Manus ---

Its like night and day between the two manus. The new manu certainly nailed my design and vision for the plush. The old manu did not. 

I had told the old manu to make the plush larger as originally with the Eudora and Whimsy plush they made them the wrong size. When Nyx and Athena arrived, they were still the wrong size.

I heard from them last night and we should get photos within a week for the first prototype. Which will generally be body shape and then we can go from there.

--- General Life Update ---

I will be moving very soon. This is a sudden new development. But that shouldn't affect anything plush wise. As where I am moving to is already where I was planning on working on packing/shipping the plush orders from once they come in.

If you will be at either the Pickerington Wizard Faire (Aug 9th - Pickerington, OH) or at Akron Pride (Aug 23rd - Akron, OH), I will have all the Terragryff sample plush with me at my booths. So people can check them out in person!

I will also be at Matsuricon the last weekend of August at the TrotCon booth. I will very likely have the Terragryffs with me there too. 

-- Weighted Nyx Update --

Ok, so we got the photos for the final weighted Nyx plush revision. I'm still not quite happy with how her overall body shape looks from this manu. Somehow with this one they changed her beak and it does not look like they are using the pattern I gave them for the Terragryff beaks.

Her front claws do look better than all the other claw versions we have seen. She will be getting sent to me very soon, so I can inspect her better in person. 

However I am thinking I'm going to switch to the manu I switched to for the Teacup Terragryffs, since they have been knocking it out of the park bringing my Terragryffs to life so far. I will get the samples for Nyx, Athena, and Eudora weighted plush started with the new manu this week. Thankfully they are really quick and we shouldn't have to wait very long for the first draft sample photos.

-- Teacup News --

The Athena and Nyx teacup style plush will be getting shipped to me very soon! I can't wait to see them in person. 

Shortly after I see them in person, I will get them started on production. I will let everyone know once that starts. Once production starts it should take about a month for them to make the plush and then about a month to get them via shipping.  

Since things have taken a little longer for these and the weighted plush, I will be including a gift in everyones orders for your patience. 

---- Teacup Nyx Update ----

What do you guys think about Teacup Style Nyx? 

I'm thinking she is pretty much done. Unless you guys see anything I missing. 

After I get the next round of all the other Teacup Style Terragryffs that are currently in progress, I believe all the sample plush will be getting shipped out to me. 

After I get to see Athena and Nyx teacup plush in person, I will then get them started on production. I will keep everyone updated once I know more on the production and shipping timeline.

---- Wyldefell Woods & OtherWorld Menagerie -----

I was at Columbus Pride recently. And as you also know my shop name is OtherWorld Menagerie. I had came up with my new shop name in 2019. In 2020 in the Columbus, OH area a new interactive art place opened up called "OtherWorld Columbus", ever since we came back to vending events in 2021 after the Pandemic I have had people thinking I'm them. And it hasn't helped since they started selling fantasy creature plush too....well at this years Columbus Pride was the worst it has ever been of people thinking I am them and then dismissing my booth. Or saying "Oh I have been to OtherWorld", as they only read part of my sign and not the whole thing. 

So one of things I'm working on doing for in person events is going to be switching over "Wyldefell Woods", as I'm honestly so tired of getting mistaken for them over the past half a decade. They have a huge marketing budget and whatnot, which I do not have. So they are always going to be more well known then me.

Just a quick update to let you all know the eyes for Athena and Eudora are getting updated to these. These are photos I edited to show the manu what to change the eyes to. I will share the new photos once the revisions are actually made.

Also now that we have the size down for the Teacup Terragryffs, I will be working with the new manu to have the "Emotional Support Terragryff" vests made. I was also thinking having a leash/bag strap attachment so you can wear them and bring them with you.
