Okay, so I've gone back and forth between Backerkit (who tells me everything is set up fine on their end) to DTRPG (who tells me to do the same thing I did when I originally set this intergration up) and it's still not working properly...
So I've said SCREW IT! And I'm sending all thoses that have PDFs of Sky ov Crimson Flame and/or Blights ov the Eastern Forest in their pledges these complimentary copies the old fashioned way!
Digital Soundtracks
I've gotten a few emails concerning the soundtracks and after looking into it I found out it was all my fault... I set up the "distriobution rules" wrong and connected the Sky soundtrack to the the Seekers soundtrack. So I now I have to fix that!
So if you got confused as to why the Seekers soundtrack wasn't out yet, that's why. That particular soundtrack won't be released until at least the final PDF of the Seekers adventure is released.
Those that never released their codes for the Sky soundtrack should be receiving them tonight.
Again, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me at owlknightpublishing AT gmail.com.
So I have seen that some of you are having trouble with the DriveThruRPG intergration that Backerkit now has. More than likely... It's all my fault and I set up something wrong. If you're privy to the inner workings of these sites it can the UI and can get messy real quick!
I am working with Backerkit to figure this out, but if it starts taking too long I will send out everyones codes the old fashioned way, via email!
What ho, Champions! It is I, Thorin, with another update!
Digital Goodies!
Those of you who have completed your surveys and paid for any extra rewards should soon notice some new digital goodies available to download!
Sky ov Crimson Flame PDF
Blights ov the Eastern Forest PDF
Sky & Blights Dungeon Synth Soundtracks
The PDFs will be available through both BackerKit and DriveThruRPG. I have completely redone the layouts of these books from the ground up because I’ve learned a lot since 2023—and, frankly, I didn’t like the way they looked anymore. I also fixed some typos, corrected some stats, and cleaned up various other odds and ends. So these are almost BRAND-NEW editions—but not quite...
The Dungeon Synth Soundtracks come with codes that allow you to download the albums through Bandcamp. Just head over to https://bandcamp.com/yum and enter the code provided.
If, for whatever reason, I messed something up on my end, please let me know!
Seekers Update:
Editing and layout work for Chapter 2 is finished! It added about 30 more pages, bringing the current page count to 79! Below, you’ll find some screenshots of the layout featuring more of Faith Murphree’s crazy-ass, disgusting artwork!
But before we take a look, it’s time for a little talk...
It’s already September! There are still three more chapters, an epilogue, and two appendices to edit and lay out—not to mention a bunch of artwork to commission, manufacturing details to approve, and so on.
Suffice it to say, I might have been a little overzealous when I said I’d finish this massive thing by December. I’m still going to try, but I want to warn you now that it might be early 2027 before everything ships.
Which brings me to my next order of business!
The Handout Booklet
Originally, I was thinking of creating a booklet similar to the one included with DCC #100. Now, however, I’m wondering whether a folder containing a bunch of loose-leaf handouts might be more accessible at the table. Think Masks of Nyarlathotep, if you’re familiar with the recent printing.
I know that I like being able to pull out individual handouts and physically give them to the players—especially when they represent magic items or weapons.
But I can’t make this decision alone! You’re the ones who backed this, after all! Drop me a comment below and let me know which option you would prefer!
Enough blabbering... Here’s some layout!
WILD stuff! Faith really is killing it!
That's all I have for now folks! Back to the work! - Thorin
Hello Champions! Today is H. P. Lovecraft's birthday and as stated in my previous update I have locked orders and charged cards. As a reminder: This is for updated pledges / add-ons. There will be a seperate charge for shipping closer to the manufacturing date.
Over the last couple of weeks since my last update I have being working on the layout for the Prologue and Chapter 1, as well as the Handouts Booklet.
Below you'll find some layout spreads as well as new artwork from Faith Murphree!
A pinpoint of light grows into a streaking kaleidoscopic of colors that morph into rugged weathered walls of stone stretching infinitely in all directions, spiraling upward and downward into an abyss of shadow and faint flickering light. The air hums with a low resonant thrum as if the stones themselves pulse with a heartbeat.
You float together through a labyrinth of arched stone corridors and spiraling stairwells branching off into countless others, forming a maze that feels both ancient and alive. Torches flickering in iron sconces cast dancing shadows, yet seem to burn without consuming fuel, suspended in time.
As you float aimlessly through this bizarre stasis, a mischievous voice cackles, “Oh happy day! More guests come to play!” Turning, you find a twisted jester in smoldering crimson attire seated cross-legged and floating alongside you. Small balls of flame replace the bells upon his cap, and his wide cheshire smile displays a row of sharp black teeth. “Did she guide you here? Tsk tsk tsk… Can’t trust one so pretty! Always after their own they are. Besides… SHE is mine!”

Hovering in the center, entangled in a thread of thorny golden vines, is the Pale Maiden. The six vines stretch away from her, each weaving through one of the many archways connected to this new open space. High above, a swirling eddy of celestial bodies forms a turbulent storm where a thunderous cacophony of noise rumbles down the passageways.

Until Fate Brings Us Together Again (aka Next Month)... May Your Steel Stay Sharp and your Sword Arm Strong! - Thorin
Hello Champions! Having been stabbed multiple times by the very soul-stealing blade I conceived I have finally recovered from my trip to GenCon! As always it was quite a while ride. I managed to hit up 9 books stores on my drive and blew quite a bit of my hoarded gold, but I REGENT NOTHING except that maybe I didn't have enough time to spent with all my friends (both new and old).
I ran three games of Seekers ov the Other Worlds (only chapters of course because it's far too big) and thanks to the tornado that blew into town we had to wrap up the session with a final all-or-nothing roll to complete the adventure. Unfortunately for them, while throwing the dagger Atma-khanjr at the villain did ultimately succeed and kill them, that wasn’t where the soul was harboured and thus… they all suffered the consequences and died!
And again… I got stabbed!
Guess that's the name of the game right...?
Locking Order & Charging Cards!
On August 20th (auspiciously the birthday Lovecraft) I will be locking orders and charging cards! This way I can go ahead and deliever all the digital downloads currently available: Sky ov Crimson Flame & Blights ov the Eastern Forest PDFs and soundtracks.

Seekers Timeline Update
Things are still moving ahead. Edits are under way at full-speed, art is being comissioned, yadda, yadda, yadda! And while I can't go head first into the layout just yet, I'm doing everything I can to make this epic indeavour go smoothly.
Art!
