I wanted to give a little bit of an update on the Backerkit Pledge Manager as well as what you can expect from us here on out!
We are finalizing all the last bits of the Pledge Manager tomorrow on a call with Backerkit. From there, they will do their final reviews. Once all approved (usually a few days), we will send out the smoke test. Some of you will receive the survey a day or so early to complete so we, and Backerkit, can make sure everything is functioning properly. From there, it goes out to all! So, you can expect this all to unfold over the next week.
Once you have received the survey, we will wait 1-2 weeks (really once we get a majority of surveys completed) before locking orders and charging cards. Once charged and locked, add-on book PDFs will be fulfilled along with the Map Pack PDF and Tree House Map PDF.
By the time this unfolds, we will be finished with the Classic PDF! Once that is all done, we will send it out right away. It should line up the exact timing naturally of the Pledge Manager closing. Then, the 5e Version will follow 1-2 weeks after at most.
We do sincerely apologize for the delays. We have never not completed a project, but we have had delays before. We know how to fight through 'em. We are doing in-house layout again as we prepare for the next 16 years of Pacesetter (awesome news coming soon). That has caused a little delay. We are sincerely apologetic for that. The physical books should arrive to use at Pacesetter HQ in August with shipping to you happening the last week of August possibly into the first week of September depending on how fast the printer finishes (sometimes they're early, sometimes a few days behind). Even though it cannot repair the time, we will be sending out a free pdf ofBook of Beginnings (5e) and Classic Adventures (Classic B/X) to all backers. We do appreciate your patience as we work hard to wrap this thing up, and again, we do apologize for the delay! More soon once everything is square with the Pledge Manager!
