The Vibrating Tarot project is moving ever forward, but I regret to inform everyone of a further delay in the fulfillment timeline due to unforeseen production challenges with our printer.
While we had sincerely hoped to have the deck in your hands much sooner, circumstances have forced us to extend our original timeline further than anticipated.
We are hopeful that our deck can be delivered to all of you in May 2026.
Thanks for your understanding, as I feel a great responsibility to advocate to the best of my ability for each brand who has allowed their products to be featured in this body of work, even if it tacks on several weeks to the production timeline.
Updated Production Schedule
March: Continue discussions with printer. Approve the new offset proof.
April: Awaiting our shipment.
May: Fulfillment of units to all Backers.
Why are we Facing this Delay?
After having seen the deck printed several times during the past two years by several different North American printers, we finally committed to seeing our first offset proof, which was produced by the company that was to manufacture our full run of 1000 units, who is based in China.
Generating an offset proof of a bulk print job is very expensive but crucial as a final test because it shows exactly how each one of the 1000 copies printed after it will look.
It is at this final stage that we ran into our issue, as the printer we had been working with did not deliver a satisfactory proof of the project. In our offset proof, we noticed that all the colours are much too dark, leading to the loss of important details, and the overall colour palette tends towards red/beige, with many cards having a very noticeable reddish/beige hue washing over them.
Although I could share a variety of different examples, I don't want these inadequate images living on the internet in perpetuity and potentially overshadowing the amazing final product that will soon be coming to store shelves.
Why Does this Discrepancy Matter?
I’m trying to ensure that each product looks the way it should look and that no brand who has put their trust in me has any reason to feel that their product didn’t turn out properly in the final print.
I have an obligation to make sure that all the images are accurate representations of the products they depict. We simply cannot accept this printing result and rush the final product into the hands of our backers.
What is our Solution?
Our printer told us that we were being too picky and that we should just accept a certain level of variation.
They ignored our attempts to discuss the colour calibration on their equipment or the colour profiles and export settings of my files. I was eventually told to find a different printer who had better printing capabilities.
Advancing an ongoing dialogue I had previously initiated with a different printing company, one that has come highly recommended to us, has already been a major improvement.
When I proceeded with the new company and asked to see a full offset proof, they told me exactly which colour profile to apply to my images that aligns with their specific printing machinery.
Now that all of my files have been exported with settings that are optimal to the equipment being used to print the job, I am certain that our new offset proof will look amazing.
Please know that without addressing the issues we’ve encountered, Vibrating Tarot would have been printed incorrectly. It would have been delivered to you below acceptable standards, and it would have been my own fault for not advocating on our behalf.
I believe we're in good hands now and that all of this will have been worth the extra wait. My only regret is that I need to be telling all of you that you will need to wait a little longer to see your deck of cards.
Any Questions?
If anyone has any questions, please ask in the comments below. I'd love to provide more details, but I didn't want to bog down this update with too much info.
If you have any specific questions, or if you want to continue this discussion in the comment section, I'd be more than happy to provide more info and answer all of your questions. I want to encourage a substantive discussion with those who want to have one, so please don't hesitate to voice your opinions below.
Thanks to everyone for understanding about our production delay
Thank you all for your patience and for your belief in this project. We want to make a deck we can be proud of and that reflects all the hard work from so many people in this industry by accurately and beautifully presenting the product imagery on each card.
Thanks to those who have already told me quality is more important than the original timeline.
We know that once the cards are in your hands, you will see how our careful attention to detail has paid off, and that the delays encountered to get to this point were more than worth the tradeoff.
So we move forward, ever optimistic. Someday very soon, this project will make it into the world and all the struggles will have been worthwhile.
We hope you’re all doing well as we approach the new year. We’re checking in with an end-of-year update on the Vibrating Tarot project.

We’ve tried to limit our updates to avoid flooding your inboxes, but basically, the project has been making steady progress and we’ll share some of those details with you here today.
Timeline and Production Update
First things first: I regret to announce that Vibrating Tarot will most likely not be in the hands of our backers by Valentine’s Day. Despite our best efforts, our production timeline has been delayed by a few weeks.
Our new anticipated delivery time is March 2026.
As a result of trying to manufacture the best possible Tarot package, I’ve been in close contact with two different overseas printing factories, both of whom are global leaders in the manufacture of high-quality Tarot decks.
During the fall, I've been actively engaging with both companies, going back and forth with proofs and test prints. This has been more time consuming than originally anticipated and the deliberation process has added a delay to our original timeline.
We were originally anticipating that the Tarot decks would be delivered to our backers by Valentine’s Day, but it is now looking like I myself may not receive the stock until at least mid-February, which will delay the delivery to you.
As you all know, this has been a years-long process and I can’t rush it now that it we’re so close to the finish line, so I thank you for your patience and understanding as I tie up all the loose ends and try to get the best possible product out to you.
For those of you who are interested in a more detailed explanation regarding the key decision I’ve made that has led to this delay, please see our chapter at the end of this update entitled, “Box Details.”
Welcoming New Brands to the Project
Since the crowdfunding campaign ended, I’ve been busy touring with the project and getting new brands on board to fill out some of the finer details. We’ve signed over a dozen new brands to the project since the time of our crowdfunding.
Please welcome ten of these brands displayed below:
Final Appearance of 2025
In October, I attended my last show of the year, the Sexual Health Alliance Conference in Denver, where I read from the Vibrating Tarot deck for attendees of the SHA 10th Anniversary Masquerade Ball. This setting put me in front of a brand new group of people, such as doctors, therapists, and educators, who are dedicated to the sexual health and wellness sector of the industry.
Many of these professionals have recognized the mature approach I’ve taken when designing this project, and I have always hoped that they will consider using Vibrating Tarot in their professional practice and personal lives, so this was a good opportunity for our project.
Thank you to Ashlin Hadden from Essence by Ashlin Hadden Insurance for inviting me to partake in this prestigious event, and thanks to the Sexual Health Alliance for hosting us.
Vibrating Font Update
Vibrating Font, the free gift that was offered to all crowdfunding backers, is in its final stages and will be distributed via email to backers in January 2026.
This 132-character pleasure product themed font was designed as a free gift to the entire community that came together to make this project possible, and will be available as a free download to backers and non-backers alike.
Look out for an announcement coming in the new year!

Box Details
As noted above, here is a more detailed explanation regarding the key decision I’ve made that has led to the delay in our production timeline.
The box I have chosen for Vibrating Tarot is a vertical standing two-piece rigid box. This type of box inherently has fold lines that are visible, but depending on the assembly process, many of these lines can be hidden or eliminated.
During the process of seeing several test prints of the product box, I discovered that our original printing company produces a box that has eight visible fold lines that appear on the sides of the box. I was unhappy with this detail, so I reached out to a different company that I have been working closely with as well, and they were able to work with me to produce a much cleaner box with only one visible fold line.
Image 1 shows both sides of the old box from the original printing company. Image 2 outlines where each of the eight fold lines are located. Look between these two images to see where the fold lines are indicated on image 2, and how/where they appear on the box in image 1.
Image 3 shows both sides of the new box from the second printing company. Image 4 outlines where the single fold line is located. This cleaner presentation is achieved by a different assembly method, resulting in a better product and overall presence.
Although any number of these various fold lines may be visible in other Tarot packages that use the same box, many times these fold lines are highly camouflaged by the details and colour scheme in the box artwork. With Vibrating Tarot’s open and clean bright white box art, these fold lines are particularly visible, and this is why it became a detail that is extremely important to us.
The product box is a vital component of the overall presentation of Vibrating Tarot and I did not want to compromise on something I felt was not up to my standards. The company that produces the cleaner box is one that I have been in contact with for the past five years and one that has come to me very highly recommended by other independent Tarot card designers.
Discovering these details and taking care to find the best solution for all of us set us back several weeks in the production timeline and this is part of the reason why we’ll be focusing on an early springtime release as opposed to late winter.
I'd love to hear your feedback, so let me know your thoughts on this in the comments below.
Thanks again everyone.
We all came together in 2025 to bring Vibrating Tarot to life, and I cannot thank you enough for your contributions. I'll always remember 2025 as the year I successfully launched my very first Tarot deck, and the people who believed in me will always give me a tremendous sense of confidence moving forward, as I embark on whatever project comes next.
We hope you all have a great new year!
We'll be in touch again in 2026 with updates on our progress.
I hope you've all been having a great summer (or winter for our southern hemisphere friends). It has been a busy summer for Vibrating Tarot and we wanted to check in and give you an update on what we've been up to.
Timeline Update
We're currently engaging in our first proper test print with the factory in China that will manufacture the first edition print run of Vibrating Tarot.
We're looking at early 2026 for the arrival of our stock in North America.
My goal is to have decks of cards in the hands of our backers by Valentine's Day, however, if there are any delays, it could be sometime in early spring.
Our current timeline is pretty close to what we projected at the time of our crowdfunding campaign and we are working hard to get the best possible deck to you as early as we can.
Überlube Giveaway Update
We are happy to announce that the überlube has been shipped out! As part of our crowdfunding campaign, the first 20 eligible backers won a free bottle of überlube, compliments of überlube. Thanks again to these early backers for their support and enthusiasm for Vibrating Tarot, and to überlube for providing us with a free gift to reward our most eager supporters.
Industry Trade Show Appearances
Attending industry trade shows has been essential to the success of Vibrating Tarot, as I am able to meet with brands in person to secure their participation and learn about new products that might be a good fit for the project.
In July, I attended the Adult Novelty Manufacturers Expo (ANME) in Burbank, California as a guest of überlube. I owe a big thank you to überlube for bringing me to this trade show, and to Lovehoney Group for bringing me to ANME in 2024. Their support has made a huge difference in my ability to feature the best pleasure products in the industry in our Tarot deck.
In early August, Vibrating Tarot exhibited at our first industry trade show, the STIMULATE Sexual Wellness B2B Trade Show and Conference in Nashville, Tennessee. Big thanks to Nicole Leinbach Hoffman for inviting me to exhibit at her amazing event, where I was able to leverage my presence in the Emerging Brands room to showcase a prototype of Vibrating Tarot to retailers, distributors, and sex educators, furthering the reach and awareness of the project.
I'll be attending one more show this year in October, in Denver, Colorado. I've been invited to read from the Vibrating Tarot deck for attendees of the Sexual Health Alliance 10th Anniversary Masquerade Ball.
