Project Update: Last 33 Minutes. So Close to 1,000 Backers

Hey Everyone,

As this amazing campaign draws to an end, I want to thank you for your incredible support!

We're once again blown away by how this performed given it's only our second campaign on Backerkit and our offering was small (but also mighty as I'm sure you'll agree).

It's safe to say we won't hit the next stretch goal.

If we can hit 1,000 backers, however, I might be able an extra bonus or two with the team...just don't tell them I said as much :D

You could share with your friends to help get us over the line. If you already have, we truly appreciate you getting the word out!

We'll drop another update soon to close this out properly.

In the meantime, thank you again for helping make this new ODOS a reality.

What I don't get...

If they intend to scam us... why post occasional updates? If they don't intend to scam us... why not just throw things like PDFs over the wall and be done with it and get some of these projects closed. These guys are super weird.

Project Update: Update on Whispers Upon the Waves

Greetings from PDG,

We fulfilled the primary part of this campaign a brave while ago, but we still have a few bits outstanding. 

Sorry about the lack of updates and the long wait, but after an unplanned pause we have news on Whispers Upon the Waves.

Whispers Upon the Waves
As mentioned in the last update, Whispers Upon the Waves suffered from significant scope creep, which as you probably know is something of a theme for Penny Dragon Games (we continue to work on it). Obviously, the downside of this is that it added time which caused the project to be further held up when we had to hit the brakes on everything.

Thankfully, the brakes are finally off again.

Having pushed go on all projects again, we’re currently taking stock and getting the last bits of “Whispers” (as we have come to call it) together. The upside of scope creep is that what was supposed to be a short adventure ended up being something of a tome in its own right. The adventure includes maps and encounters above and below the haunted town of Vandermire.

The best part? Whispers will finally be fulfilled in July. Keep an eye on your emails for a notification re how to download it via Backerkit Pledge Manager. Of course, we’ll also post an update once surveys are sent.

We know it’s been a long time coming (to put it politely) and look forward to finally sending this PDF out over the coming weeks.
