We fulfilled the primary part of this campaign a brave while ago, but we still have a few bits outstanding.
Sorry about the lack of updates and the long wait, but after an unplanned pause we have news on Whispers Upon the Waves.
Whispers Upon the Waves
As mentioned in the last update, Whispers Upon the Waves suffered from significant scope creep, which as you probably know is something of a theme for Penny Dragon Games (we continue to work on it). Obviously, the downside of this is that it added time which caused the project to be further held up when we had to hit the brakes on everything.
Thankfully, the brakes are finally off again.
Having pushed go on all projects again, we’re currently taking stock and getting the last bits of “Whispers” (as we have come to call it) together. The upside of scope creep is that what was supposed to be a short adventure ended up being something of a tome in its own right. The adventure includes maps and encounters above and below the haunted town of Vandermire.
The best part? Whispers will finally be fulfilled in July. Keep an eye on your emails for a notification re how to download it via Backerkit Pledge Manager. Of course, we’ll also post an update once surveys are sent.
We know it’s been a long time coming (to put it politely) and look forward to finally sending this PDF out over the coming weeks.
Thank you again for your legendary patience and understanding!
We have just received the city map that needed to be re-done. It still needs to be labelled, but we are so happy with how it has turned out. That just leaves one more battle map to be completed which is far less detailed than a town map so that should take another week at most.

Thank you again for your patience with Whisper's. I will be back with another update on the battle map progress on Friday.
We are very much looking forward to fulfilling this PDF and closing off this campaign.
Well that is certainly what it feels like. I know you've all been waiting an absolute AGE for this adventure and it has been painfully slow to get over the line.
The most complex of the maps that we're waiting for is still with the cartographer and almost complete and then he can move on to the battle map.
We're slowing things down here in Penny Dragon land and have no campaigns running while we work at bringing this adventure up to date and onto your gaming tables.
Thanks again for your patience on the delivery of Whispers Upon the Waves. There will be an all round cheer when it is delivered to you all.
I don't want to keep anyone in the dark so I thought I'd give you a map update.
We are waiting for the new map of Vandermire to complete the PDF along with a missing dungeon map. The detail required on the city map is the one taking longer as our cartographer informs me that the level of detail required makes it a time consuming piece and he's working as swiftly as possible.
We don't anticipate this going past next week and I will have confirmation at the start of next week for the delivery.
I'll be back with an update at the start of next week,
Apologies for being slow to update you. Paddy returned from Gary Con and brought flu home with him. It has really hampered my keeping on top of updates over the last few weeks.
Great news, though, Whispers Upon the Waves is DONE! I can't tell you how happy I will be to hit that magical upload button on Backerkit and get this one fulfilled.
It will be a couple more days before that happens as we're waiting on an updated location map for the adventure as the original one created no longer aligned with the adventure. Other than that, we are good to go.
You'll probably see me popping up on a few different projects over the course of this week as I've been working hard on a number of projects awaiting fulfilment. Whispers has been my number one on the urgency list - kind of feel like we need to throw a party for the completion of this one.
Heads up - you won't see any of our regular, small monthly campaigns running in April or May. Our focus (or mainly mine since I am responsible for layout) is on closing off projects over the course of the next 3 weeks especially. I'm only one person and I have 4 projects currently in layout so I genuinely appreciate the grace you've extended. You rock :)
We put out a poll many months ago and a silk road inspired adventure and magic item book came out as your top choice. And we're sure glad it did, as it is a project we had already begun work on.
If you'd like to read more about it you can do so HERE.
Giving ourselves the space to bring outstanding projects to completion in April, means this project can be fully focussed on in May and fulfilled in late June.
I'll be back in a few days to announce the upload and fulfilment of Whispers.
