Don’t be fooled by their fragile appearance, for Thrones hold knowledge as vast as the universe. They are a steady and patient force, a truly ancient existence.
The resemblance to mythological creatures such as unicorns and perytons deserves further exploration. They wear a fawn-like form in soft albino tones, with a long slender tail, and uniquely shaped deep purple wings. Across those wings are ever-shifting constellations.
But what truly sets Thrones apart are the horns: large crests atop the head and ringed horns around the neck and in place of dewclaws. They grow in patterns like halos, crowns, and orreries. Among those rings, stars and planetary orbs act as eyes, giving Thrones a 360 degree view of their surroundings; their sensory system appearing like a living solar system.
(And yes, the vibe is very different from Dominions. 👀 In my heart lives a child who absolutely lived and died for The Last Unicorn.)
