Deep beneath the islands of Getar, something ancient has awoken. Starved for energy and knowledge, the Avadri Decision Engine tortures its subjects and siphons essence from the land, and Samorael feeds it in an attempt to script his conquest. Finding a group of children huddled together between the smouldering remains of a building, you realize they are the sole survivors of the fire. They will rely on you to make it across the soot-covered landscape to a safe place.
In this D&D 5e one-shot, your party travels across a burnt Bishal while accompanying a group of orphaned children to a safer place. Includes alternatives to substitute the children for other kinds of vulnerable groups to aid.
