Like many of our other projects from last year, this one’s been hit by lingering setbacks that have slowed things down more than we ever expected. But we’re not giving up — and as soon as we have something concrete to share, you’ll be the first to know.

🧠 Why we’ve been so quiet
This isn’t the first time we’ve talked about this — but since we still get asked what’s going on and why we disappear for stretches of time (even if we work behind the scenes), we think it’s worth saying again.
The past few years — especially 2024 — have been incredibly hard on us. We've been through a lot, more than we ever expected to carry. And truthfully? It’s taken a toll on everything: how we work, how we stay organized, and how we function day to day.
Saying we “weren’t doing well” doesn’t quite cover it. We were overwhelmed, struggling under the weight of things we didn’t know how to handle — and we were doing it alone. It drained us, emotionally, mentally, and physically -and it still does.
We really hope you can understand — it’s not easy to keep writing updates when all we have to report are more struggles or delays. We’re always hoping for that turning point, that the next news will finally be something good to share.
💝 Trying to heal
It’s had a deep impact on our mental health. We’ve had to pick up the pieces slowly and alone, with the few tools we had. But we’ve reached out for help. We’ve started a healing journey, gotten into treatment, and we’re learning how to cope — how to get better at managing our work again, too.

One of the hardest things to explain is just how much we struggle to even remember to post an update. Sometimes we genuinely think we already did — and then suddenly, weeks or months have passed. ⏳ Time slips away from us without us even noticing. Getting a diagnosis helped. It gave us a framework — a way to finally understand why things have always felt off or harder for us. It’s validating, even comforting in some ways. But it’s not a magic fix. Knowing why we struggle doesn’t make the struggles disappear. It just means we can name them now. And sometimes, that makes the frustration even sharper.
We’re not saying any of this to make "excuses", and we’re definitely not trying to justify the delays. We just want to be honest. To give you a glimpse of what’s happening behind the scenes. Because we are still here, even if we’re quiet. We’re still working. Still moving forward — just at a slower, messier pace.
🧩Pieces Coming Together (Slowly)
Before we could start production on the pins for this project, we were waiting on feedback from a new manufacturer — the one we turned to for a second attempt at producing again Delidragons pins (paid out of our own pocket, after serious issues with our previous trusted long-time supplier).
We needed to know if this new manufacturer was actually reliable and up to standard — because if they were, we had hoped to entrust them with the Delicats production as well (and possibly other pending projects too).
⏳ Waiting… and waiting
We thought we’d hear back quickly… but that didn’t happen. Weeks became months while we waited on updates from them — and only now, after all this time, are we finally getting some answers... which are not even good at all.
When it rains, it pours — just one more setback on top of everything else we’ve already been through.
🌊 Navigating the unknown
The truth is, this is a tough time for production and manufacturing — everywhere. And when you lose the manufacturers and reps you've worked with for years, everything slows down — because now you’re back to square one: searching, trying, testing. You're suddenly back to trial and error. There's no shortcut. No trust built over time. You have to start over. Slowly. Carefully.
🔁 Third time’s the charm?
So now, we’re working with yet another new manufacturer — a third attempt — to remake the Delidragons pins. If everything goes well this time, we’ll finally be able to start production for the Delicats too.
👉 We’ll charge your cards only once we’ve received a solid, positive sample from this new manufacturer.
🧷 Why we’re being cautious
At this point, we just can’t afford to move blindly —handing over our remaining collections to whoever. After being burned twice — and losing a lot in terms of money, time, and mental energy — we hope you’ll understand why we’re choosing to proceed carefully. We’ve already lost so much in terms of money, time, and mental energy.
That’s why everything’s still on hold — not because we’ve given up, but because we want to do it right.
📦 So what about shipping?
We still can’t give you a clear, new timeline — and we know how frustrating that is. Time estimation is one of the things we struggle with the most, especially when life keeps throwing curveballs.
And to make matters worse, we’re still without a stable living space of our own, which complicates… well, everything.
📌 But here’s what we can promise:
Things will get done. Even if it takes longer than we hoped, even if it’s far from perfect: we're slowly unlearning perfectionism to set it aside, one step at a time -and just do our best with what we have to make space for progress instead. Your rewards will arrive. We’re absolutely committed to that.
📋 Where things stand (a quick checklist)
For those who prefer something informative, visual and to the point, here’s where we’re at right now:
🔁 Production attempts: we're moving forward with a third manufacturer for the Delidragons, after two failed rounds with previous suppliers (one of which was entirely paid out of our own pocket).
🧪 Waiting on sample approval: before we can move ahead with the Delicats too, we’re waiting to receive a positive feedback from the new supplier. If it looks good, we'll begin production and charge cards shortly after.
💬 Communication with manufacturers: ongoing — we're keeping in close contact to avoid further surprises and make sure everything is done right, as much as we can on our side.
📸 Progress photos: can't wait to share them as soon as we have some
📦 Shipping timeline: on hold until samples are approved and production begins, but we’ll share updates the moment things move forward. Hopefully in 4 months from today tops
👉 We know this isn’t ideal, but we’re being careful — not because we’re dragging things out, but because we’ve already learned the hard way that rushing can cost much more.

Even though we can’t give you dates, we want to stay more connected. We're actively working on this in therapy too — with the help of a visual plan they’re creating just for us.
We’re committing to posting at least a small update every 4 weeks, even if it’s just a quick check-in on how things are going. Hopefully we'll manage to do it!

We want to be transparent across the board, and this message felt important enough to be shared in full — to make sure everyone gets the same level of insight and care.
We wrote this update a lot more visually organized. We wanted to make it easier to read, easier to follow, and more thoughtful for everyone who’s still waiting. Moreover, putting our thoughts into clear sections helped us process everything too and say what we needed to say — without losing ourselves along the way. We hope it helps you too!
