Hello, Adventurers! We're in the home stretch for "Con Adventurers" and have something NEW on the horizon!
The first batch of pledges were dropped at the post office this afternoon and the last "Con Adventurer" pins arrived today and look good at a first look! I'm jumping immediately into adding backing cards and prepping these to ship out to you, so here's your heads up that all remaining addresses are locking down with a 48-hour warning tomorrow, May 28. Pins will be shipping out soon!
If you have an open action (resolving payment issues, placing a UK order, answering survey, etc.), you should have received an "Action Requested" email from me on May 17. Please wrap up any open actions as soon as possible so I can get your pins to you! My goal is to get all remaining orders I can out within the next week. I'm looking forward to getting these to you all soon, and a bit ahead of schedule!
Looking for more pins? My next pin campaign, "Mythical Bards," is launching on June 10 as part of Pin Quest: Myths and Monsters. My campaign is starting with just three pins of mythical creatures telling their bardish stories and we'll see where we go from there, but also there are freebie pins for anyone who backs three or more projects!

Adventurers - Apologies for the quick follow up from yesterday's update! It appears that I'm not able to send a 48-hour notice before addresses lock when I'm locking individual pledges. SO, if your order only contains one or more of the Collect, Discuss, or Hydrate pins, stickers, or Artist series pins, please make sure to check your address (if needed) within the next 48 hours! I will be locking those orders on Tuesday, May 20 and plan to start shipping this week.
If your order is locked at that time but the address still needed to be updated, please let me know!
Hi there, Adventurers! The time has (mostly) come! The first three pins (Collect, Discuss, and Hydrate) have arrived and have been fully graded, backed, and are ready to ship out. The stickers are all ready to go. The last four pins have approved proofs, have been in production for a couple weeks at this point, and should be shipping soon.
Which means we're coming into the final piece of this campaign! I'm going to start sending out 48 hour notices to lock addresses for any orders I am able to fulfill starting Sunday, May 18. That's any pledges with completed surveys and successful payments that include only pins or stickers I have on hand now. If that's you, please make sure that your address is correct so that your pins are sent to the correct place!
If your pledge includes one of the four pins still in progress you have a little more time still and I'll send another notification when everything is fully in hand and ready to send.
If you have not filled out your survey or had a card error, I have emailed a reminder to you directly. Please make sure to finish these actions as soon as possible.

Hi there, Adventurers! A little update as we're heading into the final stretch, and some pictures.
All pins have been ordered, backer cards are in production, and the first pins are beginning to arrive! Collect and Hydrate are now in hand (pictures below) and Discuss is en route. We're still working through proofs for the other four but they're very nearly there!
I do still have a couple calls to action for folks:
Surveys have been LOCKED and cards have been charged.
Please fill out the survey if you haven't yet. There's a very small handful who haven't yet filled out the survey, and I can't send you your pledge if I don't know where to send it or what you want sent to you. For your awareness, any remaining surveys are now being locked as they come in, roughly 48 hours after they are filled out.
If you chose pay-over-time you will not have received your survey yet. Your survey should be sent to you automatically once the final payment has been received.
Please double-check your card info if your final payment did not go through. A few of the payments for shipping/add-ons/missed initial pledge payments still failed. If this is you, you should still be able to correct your payment! Please let me know if you're having trouble getting the system to work correctly for you.
UK Backers, I need to hear from you via Etsy if you haven't reached out to me yet so I can set up your order! I've ordered plenty of extra in each design so I have no concerns about availability, but I do need to hear from you to set up the order.
I'll note that I know I've seen messages like this for crowdfunds in the past and skipped past them because I didn't think they were talking about me, only to find out once that my card had expired and I didn't notice XD It happens! Checking in advance is helpful, but I will also begin reaching out individually to folks who meet any of the above to make sure you have what you need from me to wrap up actions on your end.
ON THE TIMELINE: I've begun sorting through and grading the pins that have arrived so far and will start backing them as soon as the backing cards have arrived. I expect these first pins should be available to ship by late May/early June, which has us on track (and maybe a little on the early side)!

Production Continues - Without the Mini Pin Set
As of earlier this week, designs have been mostly finalized and production has OFFICIALLY begun!
All stickers (including the mini sticker sheet!) have ARRIVED! Woo!
The first four pins (Hydrate, Discuss, Collect, and Anticipate) have been ordered. Proofs for Hydrate, Discuss, and Collect have been APPROVED and all three pins are in production. Proofs are still being finalized for Anticipate.
The last three pins (Experience, Explore, and Support Human Artists) should be heading into the proofing process within the next week or two.
Unfortunately, with tariffs and trade issues impacting things the way they are, I am not going to be able to move the mini pin set into production. I will be working to remove these from the store and from any orders that included them before orders lock on Monday. You should also be able to remove them yourselves, if you wish.
If you were really hoping for these mini pins, please note that I haven't fully given up on them! My hope is to continue this Con Adventurer series in the future with all new convention activities. We can give these little filler pins a try again then!
Surveys are Due in THREE DAYS on APRIL 21
82% of surveys have been answered so far - thank you so much! I sent reminders today to anyone who hadn't filled out their survey yet. PLEASE remember to fill out your survey if you haven't already! I cannot send you your pins/rewards without the survey being complete.
If your pledge failed, you still have the opportunity to correct it during the survey. You can check to see if your payment had gone through by going to "Your Pledges & Surveys" and clicking on "View Pledge" next to the Con Adventurers campaign.
If you backed using Pay Over Time, you will not receive the survey yet! Surveys are not sent to Pay Over Time orders until the full pledge balance is paid. That's either once the four months is up or the full pledge payment is paid, whichever comes first. At that time, you should receive an automatic invite to the survey.
You will not be charged for any additional add-ons right away. They will be charged after surveys are locked. I will send a 48-hour warning on April 19 and officially lock surveys on April 21. Cards will be charged at that time.
In Case You Missed It, "Local Pickup" is an Option for Some Backers
If you're local to Minnesota, I wanted to make sure you were aware that there IS a "Local Pickup" option for shipping. You can save on shipping and choose "Local Pickup" if you know you will be at one of the LIVE events where I am vending in 2025 and would like to stop by my booth to pick up at the convention. Right now, upcoming live events I will be at in person include:
JULY 3-6: CONvergence | Minneapolis, MN
JULY 12-13: Range FanCon | Virginia, MN
NOVEMBER 7-9: Twin Cities Con | Minneapolis, MN
I'll note that I can't guarantee that the pins will arrive in time before those dates, but everything is proceeding according to our original timeline at this time. You also don't need to choose "Local Pickup" as an option if you don't want to, of course! I'm happy to ship to you and you'll likely receive them earlier if so! But wanted to make sure all were aware that this is an option.
Reminder: Next Steps for Backers in the UK
If you backed at the "Overseas: UK Reservation" pledge level, a reminder that there will be a reminder for next steps - with links! - in the survey. Ultimately, I'll need you to reach out to me via Etsy *after you've completed your survey* so we can create your order. We'll be using the original pledge level pricing/pricing in the pre-order store, for reference, and we are working toward the same April 21 date.
Reminder: Next Steps for Collector Tiers
If you backed at the "Collector" pledge level, I emailed you directly regarding your commission drawing on Saturday, March 8. There is also a reminder in the survey to look out for an email from me.
Sketches/subject matter for the commission drawing MUST be confirmed by May 4. I extended the deadline by one month due to some strains on my own time in March while I prepared for WonderCon, but I don't expect to move this date again. Once we've connected on the convention activity, I'll send a layout sketch for approval. I can do up to two rounds of revisions on the sketches before the May 4 deadline. If I do not hear from you by that date, you will receive a drawing of my choosing featuring the two characters.
Your pledge will include the "Support Human Artists" pin automatically. I'm going to see if I can add them to your pledge on the back end so that you see that in the survey, but
