Heyo! First things first, I’m absolutely in love with this weighted dragon! I have named him Bussington (it’s silly and stupid but it makes me smile) he’s perfect in every way and suits my gothy vibes just right! Back when I first ordered him it was mostly to help combat my anxiety. I live in a city I have no family and most of my close friends have moved away, I’m introverted, anxious and sometimes it feels like I’m totally alone…. And I really love dragons, so I figured why not! Skip to this week when I received him I’ve actually had to undergo an operation. It’s been a miserable week, I’ve had to be hooked up to a machine I need to carry around and there are drains in both my sides, not a great time. It’s only today actually that I’ve finally had my drains removed and they hurt! Painkillers help my wounds but mostly I’ve been applying pressure so it hurts less. And then I just happen to get this package with a little weighted dragon inside. He’s on my lap right now applying pressure with me and my wounds don’t hurt as much anymore. His lil face cheers me up looking down at him and I’ll probably try sleeping with him tonight to help with the pain! I had kinda forgotten I ordered him, especially with recent events for me, but i can’t describe what a boost in morale he has given me today! He’s now my recovery buddy as I go through some medical stuff and I can’t thank you enough! He’s more than a plushy, he’s my little ray of sunshine in a difficult time. So thanks!
