Project Update: Villains and Videos!

Hey folks!

First of all, I would like to thank everyone who has already backed us and everyone else who has supported us so far. We want to make the best possible version of A Refugee's Guide to Nomas and your contributions make that possible.

Subharup and I were lucky enough to sit down recently with Jon de Nor on his podcast Goblin Points,to chat about the campaign. It was really great to chat with Jon and to talk a bit more about the origins and ideas behind the Psionic City. You can check out the interview here.

On the preview front, one of our stretch goals is to add five unique villains to the book, and thanks to the incredible efforts of artist Dojikaan, we're able to give you a first look. Here's a little taste with the anarchist's anarchist, Qynn, and her Hard Light Sabre!

Qynn, the Blazing Brand

We also got a lovely shout-out on EN-World from Egg Embry, which you can check out here. It was really cool to be included on a list with so many great crowdfunders!

Lastly, our cross-collab partner, Arkive Gaming, has successfully funded their project Sabotage! - A Schemer's Supplement for Draw Steel. The crowdfunder is still going, however, so don't forget to check them out!
Backers of both projects will receive The Ashes, a PDF containing five sabotage-themed monsters and special saboteur-inspired Malice features.

The Ashes are a rebellious band of anarchists, more than happy to take a torch to anyone they consider oppressive.

This PDF will include the following stat blocks:
  • Ashes Malice Features
  • Ashes Firebrand - Level 2 Minion Brute
  • Ashes Alchemist - Level 2 Horde Hexer
  • Ashes Arsonist - Level 2 Horde Artillery
  • Ashes Cinder - Level 3 Horde Ambusher
  • Ashes Saboteur - Level 3 Leader

The final few weeks of the campaign fall over the Christmas holidays, and while we know is a busy time for many people, we'll still be here, sharing the campaign and working to get Nomas over the line. Any support you can give is most appreciated, but most importantly, have a merry Christmas!

Cheers,
Sam
