Project Update: Funding Goal Reached!
We did it! I mean, really, you did it, and thank you so much!
Tales from the Cockpit has reached its funding goal, doing so at about 2 hours into the campaign and becoming the 14th game in ZineTopia 2026 to have done so. That means that everyone that pledged and all those pledges to come will be getting their game(s), and the biggest hurdle for Tales to get to convention booth/store shelves has been overcome. The only real hurdle, honestly, and the point of this entire campaign - the rest is just business as usual!
Now I can stop white-knuckling my mouse as I click the refresh button over and over again (maybe).
Now, I kept things very simple for this campaign, since it's my first foray into crowdfunding and Tales is a finished product. I definitely don't want to make things complicated and bungle such a success. So, right now, there are no stretch goals to drive towards. If the campaign gets outrageously successful I might have a few extra ideas for what to do and offer with that success - but none of them will be able to harm the fulfillment capability of this campaign, I promise.
That's way off in a future that may never even be and won't bother me if it doesn't, though, so for now: vote for the Act I pilot choices if you haven't already, get ready to enjoy 25 days or so of victory laps and fun, check out some more excellent ZineTopia projects, and thank you - again - for your support.
