On our last update we talked about the many different legs you can find in the Centipede deck and how you use them to score. Today we are going to talk about the other big thing that you can draw from the deck. The special effect tools! These special tools allow you to manipulate the board moving cards around or changing the Centipede score conditions. After these effect happens, the card is rotated so the body part is on the top, and the Centipede is not broken. Let's go over them in more detail:
Re-roll
Re-roll lets you choose any head and re-roll their dice. This can help you win a Centipede if you manage to roll lower, or hold others up if you roll higher. But better yet, if you manage to re-roll the same value that was there, you immediately score the Centipede! This is a great option when you want to try your luck.
Swap
Swap let's you change the position of two cards already in the table. You can also swap two heads. Play this smartly and you could even score two Centipedes in one go.
Cut
When you play Cut, insert the card in the middle of a Centipede wherever you want. Then, remove all the cards to the right of the Cut card, and add them to another Centipede (respecting the order). It is always super fun to play this and snatch a victory when no one is expecting it.
Rotate
Rotate lets you rotate two different cards in the table.
But the best thing about rotating cards, is that any effect becomes active when they are on top. Time this card properly, and you can chain crazy combos that will lead you to win!
With these effects in your hand, you will be able to pull some crazy "Big Brain" moments on your friends.
