This last week our artist Anna have been working hard in the visuals for a new Centipede, and we wanted to share it today: the Jean Centipede! This Centipede is made out of denim, the material for jeans. It looks super cute!
We used this chance to print new cards and take them for a spin at a couple of playtests over the weekend: The new centipede and the game were a big success! Our playtesters enjoyed that the game plays quickly but has a lot of depth. The Special Effects and Toymakers' abilities interact nicely and create fun and dramatic twists.
We have gathered some feedback and some nice ideas. We already applied some tweaks from the first session before the second playtest and they worked nicely. We plan to still balance the game further, but it will only be minor changes moving forward. The game feels fun and (mostly) fair!
With the Jean centipede, we have 3 out of our 5 styles in final form (or at least as close as final as it possible now): Basic(orange), Emo(purple) and Jean(blue). But we are still working on the styles for the "yellow" and "green" centipedes. There are so many possibilities. Please help us!
A robot centipede? A nature based one? Some special fabric? We are open to ideas!
