Project Update: A Successful Campaign for Monsters & Myths! Can't Say Thank You Enough
All right, good afternoon!
It's literally five minutes until the end of the Backer Kit campaign, and it has been an amazing experience.
A Huge Thank You!
The first thing I want to do is thank all of you backers who made this campaign for Monsters & Myths a success!
Monsters & Myths is actually a pretty cool achievement in itself because it is the first original tabletop RPG system built around Caribbean folklore—and thanks to all of you, we are going to make this a reality!
Gratitude to the Community
I also want to give a huge shout-out to:
- All the backers – Your support means everything!
- Everyone who helped spread the word – Whether you told your friends, posted online, or shared it with anyone you could, we truly appreciate it.
- The amazing folks at Barbados Dungeons & Dragons – This tabletop RPG community is full of enthusiastic players who have been instrumental in playtesting the system.
- Our Alpha testers – Those who provided feedback and thoughts on the system over the last three years.
On behalf of myself and my team, we are deeply grateful for everything you have done.
Next Steps: Fulfillment Begins!
Now, we move into full push towards fulfillment, which includes:
- BackerKit surveys – These will be sent out by Monday at the latest to confirm pledge details.
- Finalizing digital rewards – The rulebook is done, and Dark Utopia 2081, the short story reward, is also complete (just needs a final edit).
- Physical rewards production – We are looking to collaborate with an experienced TTRPG fulfillment company for things like cards and other physical items.
The exciting part? Since we hit and surpassed the funding target within the first two days, we've already started on the final preparations!
