Waiting on the Surveys to get approved from Backerkit and Husky update
Quick BackerKit Update
I wanted to give everyone a quick update on where things currently stand.
I’ve submitted the BackerKit survey setup for review, and BackerKit mentioned that the review process can take around 2 days before I’m able to start sending out the initial surveys.
The first step will be a small smoke test survey sent to about 5% of backers. Once that is reviewed and everything looks good, the remaining surveys can be sent out to everyone.
At the moment, the survey setup is still in the review process, so I’m just waiting for the green light from BackerKit.
If I haven’t received an answer by next Tuesday, I’ll reach out to BackerKit to check on the status and see if there’s anything holding things up. I really want to get the surveys out to all of you so we can get everything rolling and move on to the next steps toward fulfillment.
Quick Update from the Manufacturer
We have Husky photos. Husky is looking great and is almost completely ready to go. We’re just missing the tiny eyebrows and sculpted toes, but everything else is ready.
We’ll also be starting the orders for the remaining plush characters as our first batch is being packed up and prepared to ship to us. That first batch includes Scarlet and Apollo.
It’s exciting to see these plush getting closer and closer to making their way home.

G-Shep & Collie plush samples have arrived except for the husky
Good news on the plushie front!
Plush Fam
We have some exciting news. Apollo and Scarlet are officially completed and are currently being packed up to make their way over to us.
Our manufacturer estimates that they will take around 48 ish days to arrive, so the first shipment will be these two adorable floofs. They should be on their way to us very soon.
We’re still waiting on the revisions for the Husky before we can give it the final OK and have them begin sewing those up for shipment.
As for the German Shepherd and Border Collie, their samples arrived early last week and are officially ready for photos. We’ll be taking pictures soon so we can show everyone just how cute they came out. They did miss the toe sculpting on these samples, but aside from that, they look exactly how we wanted them to.The toe sculpting will be added to the final versions so they match the other toys.
We’re also currently working on the survey information that will be sent out to you soon. This will allow you to provide your information, pay for shipping, and select which toys you’re interested in getting.
We’ll continue keeping everyone posted as soon as we receive more updates.

We’re back from Megaplex and can finally relax for a day or two!
We’ve been working nonstop getting everything ready for the con, so now that it’s over, we can finally start sharing more updates from our end.
We had a very small handful of Scarlets and Apollos available at Megaplex, thanks to our manufacturers getting a few shipped to us just in time for the convention. We wanted to make sure they were exactly how we wanted them before getting the big shipment. They were even nicer after we asked for some minor changes, so all in all very very happy with the quality.
The first boat shipment of these should start arriving this fall, with the remaining stock arriving toward the end of the year as they’re still being worked on.
We also have some preview photos of the Collie and Husky. The Collie is looking great and should be good to go as is, while the Husky is currently going through a few revisions. We’re getting there with both of them.
And finally, the German Shepherd has had its final changes completed and is ready to move into production.

Gshep is ready for the next step of production (aside from missing the thread sculpted toes in this photo). Just as a reminder we will be updating at least once a month with info. We update when there are updates to post as of right now we need to wait on the revisions for the husky and go from there.
Surveys, I need to get back to the shop next week, start test packing our samples to get size and weight for the surveys and start getting those ready to send out. The surveys are the ones you must fill out to tell us which plush you want. Once the surveys are sent out or getting ready to send we will make another post giving people a heads up to check their emails to fill them out.

Gives me a bit of time in the middle of all the Megaplex prep to get everything sorted and hopefully just a bit more time to get sample photos of the next 2 toys. Surveys will remain open until all the samples are sorted so customers can see all the toys and make their selections that way. The Gshep sample has been completed and we may have it in time for Megaplex, if that is the case we should have it at our booth, it all depends on how shipping works out as we are getting close to the convention.
The manufacturer has informed me that they have worked on the first version of the collie toy as the husky will be the last one. So I should have photos to look at of the collie and then see what sort of revisions it will need soon.
For now have some cute Gshep toe beans, the company sent us some photos since I wanted to see how cute the paw pads came out and they did not disappoint.

We're currently getting all of the surveys prepared and plan to send them out in early August. This will give us a better estimate of how many of each plush was ordered and help us plan production. The surveys will remain open until later this year so everyone has a chance to see the final samples before making their selections.
On the manufacturing side, things have been moving a little slower than we'd like. That's definitely one of the challenges with our current manufacturer, but the quality they produce makes the extra time worthwhile. The German Shepherd is going through its final minor revisions and should be approved soon, which will be another sample checked off the list. We're still waiting to see the first samples for the Husky and Collie, and we're staying in close contact with the manufacturer to make sure they match the artwork as closely as possible.
I know we go through more revisions than many creators, but that's because I have high standards for the plush we produce. I'd rather spend extra time perfecting them than settle for something that doesn't meet expectations. As soon as I have more sample photos to share, I'll post them here so everyone can follow along with the progress.
Right now we're in the middle of the Megaplex rush, but we'll continue posting updates here a few times each month to keep everyone informed. If you're attending the convention, be sure to stop by our booth! We'll have a selection of plush available, including (if they arrive in time) a limited number of Scarlet and Apollo, along with a small quantity of Dusty plush.
We'll also have a giant plush on display that will be available through a silent auction at our booth. Here's a work in progress photo so you can get a sneak peek of what we've been creating. He is a 6 foot plush that has an inflatable bladder. The bladder can be removed if you would like to stuff him with polyfill instead. The silent auction will be made available at Megaplex and you will be able to bid out of the con through telegram. More info can be seen here on our telegram channel:
Still going through minor revisions but we are getting so close to happy with the design. Manufacturer just sent us photos last night but I pointed out 2 parts that needed to be altered. The color between the eyes was made dark brown instead of tan which will be changed. The 2nd part was the cheek dot, they made it too small so it was hard to see. I like cheek dots so I want them to be a bit bolder when you look at the plush.
Once Atlas is done with revisions they can move onto the next design. Overall I am super happy with the way the toy is coming out, I hope you like how Atlas is looking.
