Our names are Samantha and Sarah. Together, we run SStwins Designs! SStwins Designs is a small business with both an online and in-person presence in our local state of Colorado. We love making art that is inclusive and fun, with LGBT+ themes, bright colors, and lots of cute animals!
We’ve successfully funded three Kickstarter campaigns in the past plus one BackerKit campaign, and we’re super excited to bring these Veggie Cat pins to life for you! The Veggie Cats have been adored for years and we can't wait for them to finally become enamel pins!!
The Veggie Cat pins are 1.5” - 2.5” hard enamel pins with double pin backings and rubber stoppers. They will be gold plated!
The initial goal of $350 will help us to afford the Cabbage Cat pin. After that, we will release an additional ~1.5” pin with each $250 raised (in order: Pea Pod, Corn, Carrot, Tomato, and Avocado). If we unlock all of those cats, we will then offer a special pin if another $500 is raised: the 2.5" Veggie Stand! If we overshoot all of these goals, we hope to make some new designs available (ex. Pepper, Broccoli, etc.). We also have special stickers available that are 3” at their longest length and weatherproof. Other add-ons will be available as well, like keychains, buttons, lanyards, and more!
All 1.5" pins for sale during this campaign will be available for $12 or at a discount if you buy multiple. Stickers will be sold for $3 and will be discounted if you buy a bundle. If at any point you want to add to your pledge, you can increase it by $12 per pin and $3 per sticker.
If we reach the point of unlocking the Veggie Stand pin, it will become a new add-on. It will cost $16 due to its size and large amount of colors! You will be able to add this to any previous purchases made during the campaign or during the final survey. We will only have the Veggie Stand available as a possibility after we unlock every other Veggie Cat pin!
All pins given in this campaign will be A-grade.
After the campaign ends, we will send out a survey to collect your address, information about which pins/items you’d like, and shipping costs. The pins will be put into production for at least three months after we receive survey results and we will provide regular updates. Then they will be shipped to you, which should only take a week or two for the USA!
The pins will be sent in small padded envelopes with tracking. If you only order stickers and no pins, they will be sent in paper envelopes with a stamp to reduce shipping costs.
We have some really fun add-ons available for this campaign!
First, we have the Veggie Stand Shaker Keychain! This is a super fun 3" shaker keychain with six mini pieces of all the veggie cats inside! This is available for $15.
Next, we have a Veggie Cats Lanyard! It is 2.5cm x 90cm, or approximately 1" x 36". Lanyards are sewn at the bottom with a lobster clasp. Perfect for holding an ID card, a convention or furry badge, or your favorite keychains! These are available for just $10! (Please note: provided image is a digital mockup!)
We also have some awesome Veggie Cat Buttons! These are 2.25" and will be hand-pressed on our button machine. Get your favorite cat for $3, or collect them all for a discounted price of $15!
We have a cute Mini Print of the Cabbage Cat being eaten as a salad! This print is 4"x 4" and will be made by us on our printer. They will be printed on photo paper and are glossy and thick! The prints will be $4.
Tell everyone how you will brake for Veggie Cats with this cute weatherproof Bumper Sticker!! Stickers measure 10"x 3".
Finally, we have a 3" Veggie Cats Hand Mirror! This is the perfect size to carry around in a bag. These will also be pressed on our button machine! You can alternatively request for the design to be made into a 3" button during your survey. These will be $6!
Our initial goal will only fund production of the 1.5" Cabbage Cat pin! The following pins will be released in this order: Pea Pod, Corn, Carrot, Tomato, Avocado for each additional $250 raised!
If all of these goals are reached, we have an additional stretch goal for the 2.5" Veggie Stand pin. This will require an additional $500 to be raised due to the pin's size and amount of colors!
This project is part of the Fur & Food banner inside of Pintopia! If you pack 3+ projects in the banner, you will recieve a bonus cookie-themed sticker from each project you've backed!
We are also partnering with Servalsurf from the Boba Buddies campaign!! He's producing some super cute plush bags of boba animals. If you back his campaign and Veggie Cats, you'll recieve both of these fun, limited edition keychains!
Please note: in order to recieve the collab keychain freebies, you will need to pledge for at least one boba bag from Boba Buddies and something more than stickers from Veggie Cats!
We will only be shipping to North America for this campaign (excluding stickers). Shipping costs will vary depending on purchased items. Your purchase should fall somewhere in this range:
USA: $4-10 Canada: $15-30 Mexico: $15-30
If you only purchase stickers, your items will ship with a stamp ($1 in USA and $2 for Canada and Mexico)! However, these will not have tracking and we will not be responsible if these items get lost in the mail. If you would like to purchase tracking for stickers, that will be an optional add-on during the survey. We will sell stickers to countries not on the above list, however, these will only ship with a stamp. Shipping will cost $2.
Pins will be put into production upon recieving the majority of survey responses (so we know what quantities of which designs to order!). This should be mid-February. The designs are already ready and quoted with our manufacturer so at that point they will be able to begin production! Barring any delays from holidays like the Chinese New Year, we hope that it should take only around 3 months for the pins to be completed and arrive to us. We will then do fulfillment/grading! If all goes as planned, your pins will be shipped to you by early this summer (hopefully June or July!).
