It has now been two MONTHS since shipping started, and over two weeks since the last update. Can we get another one? I’m trying to be patient but this is the longest fulfillment of anything I’ve ever backed, shipping wise.
@Danny Chamberlin I certainly hope this process won't take years to complete. I agree that international shipping was taking longer, not sure how much of a delay there is now, but I'm willing to give you that. However, we are past the international shipping part now and internal shipping is not really a problem, yet the progress on this project seems to be exceptionally slow and well behind schedule.
A couple weeks/months? Wait until it hits YEARS. Especially in this uncertain environment. They're shipping, unfortunately it does take a while longer than it did a year or two ago.
I know that the wait seems long; it probably feels like it's taking forever. But, this is normal. While I've had some campaigns complete fulfillment in mere weeks, the vast majority have been months; I had several as long as 6 monts. The larger the campaign (i.e. the more backers) the long it will take, especially when add-ons are taken into consideration.
Some companies, such as "Unstable Games", have started trying out shipping just the tier items first and then add-ons in a second wave as a way to mitigate shipping time. This way, everyone gets their campaign items and only have to wait a little for the extra stuff. Unstable Games even started having the teir items pre-packaged so all they had to do for each backer was grab a box with the right tier name on it.
