At this point, I’m no longer checking updates because I’m excited — I’m checking because I just want this whole process to be over. I’ve read every apology, every explanation, and every shifting of blame. I understand that not everything is in your direct control, but this is still your project — you chose the partners, you took our money, and you’re the ones ultimately responsible for seeing it through. What stings is that after all this, the most that’s been said about making it right is essentially ‘maybe, if we think of something.’ I’m not here for freebies, but it’s hard to ignore that better handling along the way could have avoided a lot of the frustration we’re all feeling now. Seeing this product on sale at retail before many backers — the people who funded it — have theirs in hand has completely drained my enthusiasm. I’m not angry anymore, I’m just tired of it. I just want my pledge fulfilled so I can stop wondering when, or if, it’s going to arrive. Thanks for your time — though it’s nothing compared to the time you’ve wasted of mine.
