PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: Here's the first new character class to vote on and the answer to some questions asked:
Here's the plan on the backer poll for a new character class: Every five days we'll drop a description and some art for one of three classes. At the end, you backers get to vote on which one you'd like to receive as a PDF writeup as an official class you can use in your games. Before we show off the first class, a word about the First 48 Hour Swag Bonus. As we understand it, and we are awaiting confirmation, you did NOT have to put the patch and dice in as an add-on to your pledge. If you backed in the first 48 hours, it will have been added to your order. In the end survey, you'll be able to pay for the shipping of the Swag Bonus or choose not to receive it if the shipping is just too much to handle. Now, if you DID put the Swag Bonus in as an add-on, we believe you'll be able to remove the extra from your final accounting so you'll only get the one order. We'll make it right either way. Now, here's the first class for consideration: The Whiskey Demon!
What’s a demon to do when part of its daily torture is not having the ability to physically imbibe that which it yearns for most? Why, tempt and possess a poor cowboy down on their luck, that’s what!
Whiskey demons are the damned souls of humans, given demonic form, who used whiskey and other spirits to fuel their sordid lives of sin whilst still drawing breath. Their suffering consists of having walls of top-shelf hooch all around, but taking a sip, even so much as a drop, means bursting into flames and suffering unimaginable agony.
On occasion, a whiskey demon escapes back to the mortal realm, and upon the promise of granting infernal gifts, is invited to possess some poor sod that don’t know better. The demon shares its demonic powers, and in exchange, the host hits the sauce, drinking any and everything alcoholic—as the possessing demon can experience the taste and effects safely by way of a willing host.
Unfortunately for the host, life is short-lived as a human body can only survive bingeing on firewater for so long, eventually succumbing to the effects of poisoning their liver. The demon ain’t no amateur at this game and will jump to a new victim before the current host gives up the ghost.
Players looking for a rich role playing opportunity will enjoy the challenge of trying to tame a demon and use its infernal powers, while the demon (often portrayed by the judge) will work towards steering the host towards the closest saloon to quench its undying thirst.

I would pay the extra $$ for leatherbound/offset editions of this book and the 2 core books…. Any way to convince you to add those in? :)
PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: Jumping Jackalopes!
I wanted to take time today to thank you from the bottom of my crusty black heart for taking this project to the funded level, and in less than a day! I think creators try to plan a campaign so that it will fund by the end of the campaign, so, when you’re lucky enough to get it done in the first day, what do you do? We’ll be making a couple of polls soon. One will be for you to vote on the patch you want. We’ll have two designs, and YOU will decide which will become the first official Weird Frontiers patch! The second will be a poll to decide what class will potentially be included in the 2nd printing of the Weird Frontiers RPG. I have narrowed it down to three, and I’ll give you a sneak peek into each along with some concept art! I think all three are pretty damned cool and that they don’t step too closely on the existing classes you’ve helped make a staple at the gaming table since the game’s release. While I’m getting these ready to ride, please consider sharing the campaign for those who might not know we’re live? The freebies will end tomorrow, and I want everyone who has enjoyed the game to be involved with the voting! Thank you again to the posse that worked to make the current project a reality!
