Project Update: Dog Soldier class delivery
We're trying out using Backer Kit's built-in digital delivery system for the dog soldier class. Check your emails over the rest of the weekend as you should all receive a link to the class.

Project Update: Update on shipping, codes, and all that good stuff!
I'm sorry for not getting this out to you sooner, but hopefully this will answer any questions you might still have. Shipping has already begun for the dice and patches. A little over half of the orders went out on Monday and Wednesday. I should be finished with the remaining boxes tomorrow, which means I'll be mailing them by Saturday at the latest. I'm doing all the packing and shipping myself, and it was quite a saddlebag full of dice and patches, so please give it 7 to 10 business days before reaching out if you haven't received anything yet (considering the holidays).
If you are one of the three folks who purchased the add-on for original art, there will be a bit more of a delay. I wish I could blame someone other than myself, but I can't. I forgot that I hadn't told Zohn how many pieces to send, so that is on me. Zohn reached out today to tell me he'd mailed the art, but it's shipping from Australia, which means probably two weeks. I'll be sending something extra to you folks as an apology, and you can punch me in the nose the next time you see me for good measure!
I have had a few folks reach out stating they haven't received their codes yet. All codes have been sent out and should be waiting for you parked in your DriveThruRPG account; however, if you haven't received anything and you have checked your spam folder, reach out to me through Backerkit, and I'll make sure we get you taken care of promptly!
The new character class, the dog soldier, is in final edit and layout now after much testing (and character deaths). We'll provide the class PDF through Backerkit's own system here instead of uploading it onto DrivethruRPG. When it's loaded, you'll get an email for the download.
I believe we're nearing the end of the trail on this project, and I can't thank you enough for keeping this creation of mine relevant in an ocean of amazing games. It never ceases to amaze me! Be on the lookout for our 2nd printing campaign as it'll be next on the list, and you know we'll need your follow just to be popular enough to use Backer Kit!!

PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: Shipping charges update and credit card charge date pushed back
We now have confirmation that the shipping charges for those of you in the U.S. that have physical items needing to be shipped will be added into the Pledge Manager. We're pushing out the date for credit cards to be charged until the 4th so everyone gets a chance to review the postage charges before your cards are hit. Again, $7 for dice/patch (any number) and $9 for t-shirt, art, and dice/patch. International folks, we'll reach out to each of you individually, so when Pledge Manager closes, your shipping charges will NOT be included in that. We'll work it out after the fact with you.
PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: Credit cards charged on the 1st and shipping charges
First, let's show off the swag! We have the dice and the patch in hand:
Credit cards for any add-ons selected in the Pledge Manager SHOULD be charged on the 1st of November. We're still working out the details on the added shipping if you have dice/patch, t-shirts, or art coming to you. It may either be added to the Pledge Manager and charged with your other add-ons OR it may come as individual requests. Either way, the prices remain as stated in the last update for U.S. backers: $7 for any number of dice/patch sets or $9 for any package that has t-shirts, art, and dice/patch. International backers, we'll reach out to you individually to figure it out.
New Class
The last stretch goal is in playtesting now. Once we're happy with how the dog soldier's powers compliment the other classes, we'll send you all PDF codes.
PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: Pledge manager lock down, card charges, and POD codes
Just a reminder that Pledge Manger closes on October 21st. After that date, you will not be able to make changes or add to your orders. Credit cards will be charged on November the 1st for any items you've picked up in Pledge Manager. POD codes for at-cost physical copies will start going out on Monday, October the 20th for those that pledged for POD goods during the campaign. If you've added POD goods in Pledge Manager, those codes will go out after credit cards are charged on the 1st of November. The dice and patches are on the way to us, and the shipping boxes have been ordered. Remember, shipping charges for dice and patches, t-shirts, and art are flat charges to the US depending on the size of box needed to ship. As we understand it, the shipping charges will be individual charges to you with the fine folks at Backerkit working with us to get this managed. For the US, dice & patch will be $7 (for single or multiple orders the cost is the same). A t-shirt box with any other items that will fit (dice & patch and artwork for instance) will be $9.
This is how we arrived at those prices:
This is how we arrived at those prices:
- There will be two sizes of boxes. One will fit multiple sets of patch and dice. One will fit a t-shirt, art, and patch and dice. We’ve figured that, given the limit we put on each of these items, we can charge one price per box in the U.S if you’ve got just a single item or if you have multiples. The weight rate doesn’t change significantly with what is possible to have in a box.
- We did check the possibility of shipping in padded envelopes for the dice, which would have been the cheapest possible way to ship those, but it is no longer possible to send that type of package at First Class rate through the USPS. Their new rules state that anything in an envelope (padded or otherwise) can not be more than a 1/2” in thickness and the thickness must be uniform across the package. If it is not, you must send it as a package, and First Class rates do not apply.
- So, we’ve come up with this: The dice and patch (for a single set or more) will ship for $7 to anywhere in the U.S. in a void-filled box of 6x4x2. For a t-shirt box, it will be $9 to anywhere in the US. This box can also hold dice and patch and art for that same price. This ships in a 12x9x2 box. Both of these boxes will ship USPS Ground Advantage and will be trackable.
- For international backers, we will contact you directly to do individual shipping.
- The prices were arrived at by figuring the most expensive package to the opposite coast and to a package mailed to the same zip code. The weight brackets were then checked to see what the difference in multiple items in a box would do (multiple items did not change the ship rate). The price charged is in the middle, with only a slight difference being noted on either end. We are using a discount shipper to get that price (Pirate Ship).
