Aside from any issues that may arise with this final shipment**, Isopod Colony is effectively fulfilled! Thank you everyone for your support with this project!
* There are two backers who never filled out their surveys. I’ve been sending Backerkit reminder e-mails a twice a month, and reached out with personalized e-mails this month. I am assuming that the e-mails are not going through, and am posting here as a last-ditch effort to try and contact you. If you are one of these backers, your pledge is not fulfilled because I cannot send you your items without your confirmed selections of what you’re receiving or your address. Please fill out your surveys. If you do so, I can ship them out! After July, I will stop sending reminder e-mails and will no longer be able to guarantee spare inventory for unfulfilled Pledge Manager surveys.
** If anyone has an issue with their order -it didn’t arrive, or there are missing, incorrect, or damaged items- please let me know before July and I will use my reserve inventory to correct these issues.

Future Project Updates
After this update, I will no longer be sending out update e-mails for this project, so this should be the last e-mail you receive for following this project specifically! If you are a curious about my upcoming projects and want to be notified about them, follow me as a Backerkit creator and you should receive updates about new projects I’m creating here on backerkit!
On that note, my next pin project will be Herpatology Dragons. It is launching this June as a part of Pin Quest. It’s will consist of enamel dragon pins that are heavily influenced by some of my favorite reptiles and amphibians. Axolotl wyrms, tokay gecko dragons, and hognose amphipteres, oh my!

The final outstanding item for Isopod Colony, the sticky notes, arrived today and are now in-hand. Thank you for your patience with the delay of this item. They turned out great and I can't wait to send them to you!
There are 15 orders left to ship for Isopod Colony. I'll be getting these orders out next week, and with that, Isopod Colony will be a wrap! Thank you so much to everyone who helped make this happen. This was my first Backerkit campaign, and having this project be successful enabled me to produce items that would otherwise have been out-of-reach for a small creator.
I ordered extras of all of the items for this campaign so that I could have stock to take with me to conventions and art shows. For now, I'll be leaving the Isopod Colony preorder store open if anyone would like to order any additional pins or Isopod goodies.
Everything except for the sticky notes have arrived, pins have been graded, items packaged, and early fulfillment has begun! 14 packages went out yesterday and 56 went out today. The 14 that were shipped yesterday should have received their tracking numbers. The 56 that went out today will have their tracking numbers e-mailed at 9am on Friday. I will continue to ship out items as quickly as I can. It is super satisfying to package these little guys and send them to their new homes. Packing everything has been a very zen task that leaves me feeling happy and accomplished. I hope that everyone enjoys their isopod goodies, and thank you so much for supporting this project!

Sticky Note Update
While many items arrived early, the sticky notes are not among them. I ordered them a bit later than the other items, as only 12 sticky notes were sold. To make the order something that was not cost prohibitive to produce, I had to design a few more notepads so that I can bring the cost per unit for production down and make shipping more economical. This let me reach the 200 sticky note minimum order without having them all be one design that didn’t sell particularly well.
What this means:
If your order contained a pad of sticky notes, it will not be fulfilled early. However, it will still arrive by the project’s projected March ship date. I will keep you updated for when the sticky notes arrive, and will ship out orders that contain them as soon as possible. For everyone who ordered sticky notes, I’ll be including some extra stickers and goodies in your package as thanks for your patience.
The extra sticky notes designs I created will available from the get-go for my next Backerkit project, Elemental Myth!

Elemental Myth
The launch party page is ready for Elemental Myth.This project is a part of Pintopia 2026!My next project will be a series of pin sets of mythological creatures and elements, with a phoenix fire and wyvern wind set available as part of the initial funding goal. There will be extra large, medium, and mini pins in each set, available to backers individually or as sets.
There are quite a few bonus goodies planned: Elemental Myth will include free bonus pins for returning backers and early bird pledges. Additionally I will be cross-collaborating with Dream Vale Studios’Dragon Dice Bag project, and offering rewards if you participate in both campaigns!
If you’re interested in this project, feel free to follow the launch party page so you’re notified when the campaign begins. Following this page will also notify you when I make updates to the launch party page, which might include polls and in-progress designs before the campaign to get feedback.

Pledge Payment Failures & Incomplete Surveys:
There are still 11 outstanding orders that will be unable to be shipped at this time. I would really love to get your items to you! If you are one of the backers with any of the following issues, they are still something that can be resolved. Please log into the Pledge Manager to address any of the following issues:
Payment failure for your Backerkit pledge and/or unpaid shipping and pledge manager items - If your credit card on file is invalid, the pledge and shipping fees cannot be paid. Please update your payment method to one that can be used so that I can get your items to you. Failed credit cards had recharge attempts on December 2 and 9th. I will continue to try and collect payment every week or two until the end of March 2026, at which point I will cancel the pledges (with e-mailed notice.)
Incomplete or inaccurate shipping address: To send your items to you, I need to know where to send them; please make sure you’ve entered in the address where you would like items delivered!
Incomplete Pledge Manager survey: Many of the pledges in Isopod Colony included items where you are required to tell me what pin designs you wished to be sent; please let me know what you want so I can send them!
I will continue to check the Pledge Manager and send out e-mail notifications for these issues until March 31, 2026, at which point I will be closing out the project.

Galaxycon Columbus
I will be attending Galaxcon Columbus this weekend from December 5-7. If you're also attending, you can find me in the artist's alley; it is possible to do in person pickup this weekend as well.
What you'll need for in-person pickup: * For your pledge to have been successfully paid (several backers had credit cards that were declined) . * A phone with access to your backerkit pledge manager so you can pull it up and show me who you are! * An order that does not contain washi tape or notepads, which have not arrived yet.
If you pick up in person, I'll mark your order as shipped and refund any shipping charge. My apologies for the last-minute notice on this. I did not expect to have the pins before Galaxycon, or I would have offered in person pickup in advance!

November 30 Preorders, Pledge Manager Order Lock & Credit Card Charge
Please note that November 30 is the final day to participate in preorders if you're a new backer, and to make changes to your campaign orders or add on any items. After this date, the pledge manager and preorder store will lock down, and everyone's credit cards will be charged for any addons or shipping charges that were added during the pledge manager stage.
92% of backers have completed their survey, and it is much appreciated! If you are one of the backers who has not yet completed their survey, I encourage you to do so as soon as possible so that your items can arrive promptly and without issue!

Pin Production Photos
The enamel pins & charms are nearly finished being manufactured. Here are some photos of their production! Below you can see what the pins look like with their solid, enamel fills alongside their final look, with the UV printing and spot colors added. The spot colors really bring these guys to life!

Blind Bag Production Photos
The blind bags for the star candy isopods are currently in production! Here's the final design and a photo of them being created. When the bag manufacturer sent me the video of their production process, I was surprised to see that a single, giant machine prints, seals, and cuts them. I thought that each step would be a separate process and require different equipment. Technology is amazing!

Revision & Remake
Enamel pins are a largely a hand-made process, so some issues and bloopers are to be expected. Here are a few of the items that are undergoing corrections and remakes:
Panda Kings Remake: The Panda Kings/Lemon Blue mini pin is currently undergoing a remake. The eyes and cheek lines were intended to be part of the UV print layer, but were erroneously created as part of the metal mold during production. Doing the eyes in UV will allow for it to match the other mini pins. It will also allow for the Panda Kings and Lemon Blues to have different eye shapes/expressions, as their eye artwork is not tied to their shared metal mold.
Isopod Snuggle Leaf Remake: When the Isopod snuggle leaf design was taken to the electroplating factory to receive their gold color, something happened that caused 80% of the pins to have rusting tide marks in some of the lines. My manufacturer was awesome and took full responsibility, so they are being remade for me free-of-charge.
Blooper Freebies: Between the snuggle leaf "rusties" and the handmade nature of pins, I am likely to have quite a few blooper pins. As long as it doesn't result in the weight of your package jumping up to a new shipping tier, I'll be including some of these bloopers as a freebie when I ship out orders. I don't know if I'll have enough bloopers for everyone to get one, but will try and include them in as many packages as I can. So if you end up with an unexpected freebie in your order with a blooper note attached, this is how they came to be!

Pintopia 2026
I am excited to announce that I've been accepted into Pintopia 2026. Elemental myth is a series of pins & jewelry featuring mythical creatures, surrounded by or interacting with elemental energy - wind, water, fire, and more!
This series of pins will consist of several themed sets. Each set will have one large, deluxe pin featuring a full-body mythical creature surrounded by elemental energy, a standard sized pin of the creature, and a mini pin and charm with complimentary elemental decoration.
Note: All Isopod Colony artwork is complete, and all items for it have been ordered from my manufacturers. Elemental Myth will not conflict with the production of Isopod Colony!
