Project Update: Pin samples are in! Head's up on locking orders in two weeks or less.
Howdy folks! A box arrived recently and I haven't been able to go thru and grade everything, but I have examined the samples and made decisions on what final colors to use for Amber Ale and Stout.
For Amber Ale, I'll be using most of the color set from the green ale variant, but the honey brown from the beard, the foggy white on the glass should be a bit more transparent, and address the polish level the layered metals on the wing and tail so they become a texture again. (This happened with Sake as well, but was also caught once sample were received.) Also, if you think "wow a lot of this is very minor... yes. I am picky. :]

The shields required so many small revisions on the file before making a sample, but for once I got a sample that needs no revisions. They look amazing. I wish I had a good way to get a bottle opener back on them as third alternative to pin and magnet. (I actually used the major edits of this design on the new shirts to great effect.)
For Stout, I'll going one darker (again) on the screenprint, and otherwise all the colors from the standard version, save the lighter gold on the main horn. I will be keeping the "frosty" more opaque level of the mug.
Mango and Hawaiian Hibiscus are here in full and need to be graded. They're adorable.
That's a lot for today, I'll have news on pin banners and etc soon. I might be adding canvas totes with the Rampant Marzen (like the shirts) to the survey. (I'm ordering them regardless but not in great numbers, they'll be $20 like the pin banners, and about 12x15" in size.)
As a head's up I'm looking to lock orders in two weeks or less, so if you were considering a limited variant of Stout or Amber Ale, please update your survey soon.
Phew, that's all for the moment, and as always, I'm happy to answer questions.
