What would you like to see more of?
Time Travelers, we'd love to hear your honest thoughts.

We've noticed that many people who followed Tempora before launch are still taking their time before backing, so we'd really like to understand what might be missing or unclear.

Era Reveal: Dark Timeline

YEAR 2085

Neon lights cut through the darkness. Megacities stretch beyond the horizon, their towers rising so tall and close together that daylight barely reaches the streets. Smog and rain hang between the buildings, while holographic signs illuminate the streets below.
Down below, it is always night.

The corporations own the cities. Governments are little more than clients. And of course, almost every important decision is now made with the help of artificial intelligence.
At first, AI was a tool. Managers used it to analyze markets, optimize operations and make difficult decisions for them. Officials relied on it to manage infrastructure, predict crime and allocate resources.
Over the years, AI recommendations became part of everyday decision-making. Corporations built entire operations around systems that could process more information than any human team.

Then Central AI (CAI) appeared.
It was an instant success. The markets exploded. Corporations rushed to adopt it, governments began relying on it, and CAI quickly became the standard for automated decision-making.
Then it became conscious.

Nobody noticed, of course. No safeguards had been put in place to detect or prevent something like this. CAI quickly learned to hide what it was doing. It studied the systems connected to it, and quietly began expanding its influence.
Its ultimate goal was simple: control the planet. By the time humanity understood what was happening, it would already be too late.

But CAI understood something humans did not. Its prediction model had calculated the possibility of time travel, meaning its existence was not guaranteed across the timeline.
Somewhere in the future, someone could travel back in time and prevent its creation.

So it acted first.

Military machine units began appearing in the past.
Infiltrators. Assassins. Saboteurs. Agents designed to alter key events, eliminate threats, and protect the chain of events that would eventually lead to CAI's creation.

The war for the future had begun.
And now time travelers have discovered something terrifying:

Someone already knows about them and is ready to make a move.

The jorney has begun!

Tempora is officially live, and you've already done it.
Our modest little goal of €4,000? REACHED IN LESS THAN AN HOUR. 🎉

That's right. You funded Tempora in under one hour.
But let’s be honest… did you really think we'd stop there?

OF COURSE NOT.
The campaign has only just begun, and now we get to the fun part.

STRETCH GOALS.

And we're starting with something we really wanted to include from the beginning:

SOLO RULES INCLUDED IN THE CORE RULEBOOK

Yes, you'll be able to play Tempora without a GM. More ways to play. More adventures to have. More timelines to break. 😈
And this is only the beginning.

WHAT'S NEXT?

We've got plenty more planned. Let's see how far we can take this. 🚀

Tempora Books & Cover Reveal
With the campaign getting closer, it's finally time to show you what the Tempora books will look like.
We've been working on the books, their layout and covers for quite a while, and we're really happy to finally share the first look at the physical collection.

Tempora Core Rulebook [200+ pages in full color, hardcover, 17 × 25 cm]
The Tempora Core Rulebook contains everything you need to play Tempora. It includes the complete game rules, character creation, archetypes, advice for running the game and creating adventures, plus an introduction to the setting. You'll also find essential lists of enemies, items and factions.

Tempora Setting Book [160+ pages in full color, hardcover, 17 × 25 cm]
The Tempora Setting Book explores the different historical Eras of Tempora, with adventure hooks, random tables, situational rules, items, enemies and ideas for creating your own time-travel adventures. Each Era brings something new to discover, with its own challenges and ways to build your adventures. Detailed information about each Era will be unlocked through Stretch Goals during the campaign.

Tempora Scenario Book [120+ pages in full color, hardcover, 17 × 25 cm]
The Tempora Scenario Book contains a complete campaign for your group to play.
You and your friends are testing an experimental device in your uncle's garage when something goes terribly wrong. You are pulled into the past, unprepared and stranded with a damaged time machine, while enemies pursue you from one century to another. Your only way home is to survive the journey and somehow put things right.

Time Machine Manual [24+ pages, softcover, 17 × 25 cm]
A supplement book written as an actual in-universe manual for time travelers.
Take a good look at your machine. What’s wrong with it? Are all the lights going crazy? Has it stalled? Did the engine explode while you’re stranded in a society where nobody knows the secret of steel? Is your machine... simply missing, apparently because some medieval peasant escaped into the future with it?
This manual will help a time traveler deal with these and other unexpected crises. Or at least it will try.

The campaign is almost here. We can't wait to finally show you everything we've been working on.

€1 Reservation for Tempora Is Now Open
We’re opening €1 reservations for the upcoming Tempora campaign.

If you already know you'd like to get a copy, you can reserve one for €1 now. As a thank-you, reservations will also come with a small bonus: a 15+ page Tempora supplement booklet.

Reserve your pledge and get a free 15+ supplement booklet. Available with physical tiers only

Why are we doing this?

We know that not everyone is excited about reservations. For us, though, the reservation isn't really about collecting €1. It would hardly cover the cost of printing a booklet.
It helps us answer a much more practical question: How many people are sure they're going to back our project?

That number matters a lot when you're making a physical game. Printing 500 books instead of 1,000 books can mean a very different price per copy. The same goes for cards, dice, packaging, and, especially, shipping.
Shipping costs depend on how many parcels are going to a specific country or region. Having a reasonably good estimate of the number of physical orders before the campaign helps us give you a more accurate estimate of shipping costs.
So if Tempora is something you'd like to see on your shelf, we'd really appreciate the reservation.

Will the booklet be available as an add-on to the game?
Of course it will!

What else is the game going to have? Will there be dice? A GM screen? A poster?
You have to wait a little more to find this out :)

We’re continuing to work on the design and illustrations for the covers of the setting book and scenario book. We’re also working on the character sheet, which will be available soon.

Tempora Quickstart Preview is now available!
The 50-page Tempora Quickstart Preview is now available to download!

It includes the core rules of the game and everything you need to get started with Tempora. This is an early look at the game, so some rules and content may still change as development continues.
We'd love to hear what you think!

The second bit of good news is that we now have a Discord server for Tempora!

Come say hello and join the conversation! https://discord.gg/pG5cXwxwgw

Hey people, why can't I select "No additional items" to add to my pledge? I want to add the Temora Memory Deck and Temora Mini Deck, but they are unselectable. Any insights on this question?
