Project Update: POST-CAMPAIGN UPDATE #1: SHIFTED is Coming… but So Are the Tariffs

Hey Gewpers,

Is SHIFTED still happening?

Yes.

Are we all doomed?

…Probably not. But also… define “doomed.”

Like many creators right now, I’ve been affected by the unexpected tariff changes. The initial funding goal no longer covers production as I had originally planned. So plans are rerouting.

I’m currently looking into manufacturing alternatives (both domestic and international), seeing what’s possible in the current chaos. I’m committed to making SHIFTED real, so if any major changes happen (for better or worse) I’ll update you here.

In the Meantime: Print and Play Lives!

All backers will receive the Print and Play files. So while I’m fighting my way through making the physical version, everyone can at least DIY the game for now.

Tentative Plan

April–May: Polishing, Proofing, and Manufacturing Recon

Still on track to finish final edits on the rulebook and player aid
Exploring manufacturing options given the chaos
Timeline goal remains end of year, but please bear with me. Given the current climate, it seems like anything can change at any moment.

June: Pledge Manager & Print and Play Launch

The Print and Play files will be sent to all backers
Pledge Manager opens to collect any info and prepare for when production gets rolling

Limbo Phase™

Manufacturing: 4–6 months (once I lock a factory)
Packing & Shipping: 2–3 weeks after that
When does that all start? TBD. We’re waiting on clearer conditions...or at least less cursed ones.

SHIFTED is Now on BoardGameGeek!

You can now add SHIFTED to your BGG collection, rate it (be nice, I’m sensitive), and start a forum theorizing the SHIFTED lore.
