Any surveys/failed payments not fixed by then risk losing their pledge and not getting their rewards as the pledge will be considered a donation once I close the pledge manager. Just a really quick check in/update for those backers in the USA affected by tariffs. I have UNLOCKED all your orders for ONE WEEK. So you can see what the tariffs are and adjust any add-ons if needed.
I am locking and charging all cards on Friday.
So if you need to make changes please do so before Friday next week! (Halloween)
THE GOOD NEWS:
Because tariffs DO NOT affect books, it looks like the majority is $5-15.5 CAD for the book boxes without add-ons! (I was expecting much worse as my pin campaigns are hit harder with tariffs >.<)
If you still wish to help me out with the $2 + 10 % Fee (Which affects all pledges to the USA) You can add the Dumpster Fire derpy sticker to your pledge. There are 3 options.

I am working with Backerkit to open your surveys so you can see how much you will owe on tariffs. As mentioned, I am willing to absorb the $2 and 10% fee. But many of you expressed that you don't mind covering that as well. Thank you! I added the Dumpster Fire Derpy Dragon sticker if you want to cover that fee in the add-ons:
You can choose which level you want to cover. It is listed under stickers & postcards. Simply add it to your cart.
(I couldn't just give you nothing >.<) Unfortunately, the Dumpster FIre derpy pin is still in production and won't be available until December at the earliest. However, if you wish to buy that or any of my other pins, I will be joining the holiday market in November where you can purchase him (and other derpies on life)

Because this campaign has taken longer than I had originally planned, I added a bonus art print from my original campaign to all the book boxes (2 books + boxes) as a thank you for sticking with me through the rough waters, and not giving up on me.

Most of you receive eBooks as part of your pledges. However, the old links have expired. I updated the links, and you should have received an email with the new links this past week (If your shipping had already been paid. Those who are affected by tariffs you will get your links once I charge shipping)
PLEASE DOWNLOAD YOUR BOOKS WITHIN 2 WEEKS after clicking the link The links to get the books expire 2 weeks after you click the link for the first time, so please download the book right away or send it to your eReader.
If you are still finding the expiration message, please email me at [email protected]with the email you backed and the email you want the books added to on Bookfunnel. I can manually add them if needed.
Good news: Canada Post has returned to a rotational strike vs a full strike. Which means that while there are still going to be delays, at least I can start shipping your pledges!
I have just finished signing the last of the books, and putting the boxes together. This weekend I will finish packaging/labelling all boxes and hopefully have everything picked up by next week.

CHARGING CARDS:
I will charge cards starting this Friday. I am still going to do this in waves, starting with pledges without tariffs. Once those orders are shipped, I will open the remaining pledges for backers affected by tariffs to either adjust add-ons or see how much tariffs will be on their pledges.
Books, postcards, and wall art are not affected by US tariffs.
If your order does not include pins or you are outside the US, you won't have tarriffs added to the order. ONLY PINS & PILLOWCASES have tariffs added. Unfortunately there is no way around this. If you need more details, please read my earlier updates.
If your card is not charged on Thursday/Friday, it is because you are affected by tariffs.

I have added extra printed art to all the remaining pledges as a thank you for sticking with me through this process. It has been a learning experience filled with turbulant waters and many tears rivalling a tempest, but I know that you will all love the final book!

I am locking addresses as soon as I charge cards. So please make sure your up-to-date address is on file.
The horizon is in sight, and I am glad to finally finish this final stage if this journey.
But, the adventure isn't over yet. I have two upcoming campaigns, one more this year, and one early in January. And I would love to have you join my journey!

I swear the waters for this campaign are ripe with storms, pirates, and blockades!
I don't know how long this will delay things yet again. In the meantime, I will continue signing books and getting everything packed up. But I will hold off on charging any cards until closer to shipping and make an announcement/update of when I will charge cards. Because who knows what lies between this blockade and port?

We are caught in a similar storm as the edge art I painted for the book it seems. Hang in there, there is light on the horizon...or perhaps it is just lightning. Either way, reef the sails and hang on! We will get to port eventually!
