Tariffs are unfortunately out of my control. Since details are vague at best it might mean that US backers might end up paying tariffs either upon receiving their packages or depending on the rules at the time of fulfillment there might be a tariff charge in pledge manager when shipping is collected. Most pledges used to fall under the de minimus of $800 and the US-Canadian free trade laws. But no one can predict what the next 3 months will mean for packages shipped from Canada. Books may or may not remain exempt. As of creating this campaign tariffs are 35% + $2 shipping + 10% fee for anything not paper related Books & wall art are currently exempt

Yes! However, books are shipped directly from the printer (as they have an EU rep for GPSR) and will have bookplates sent separately from myself with any pins.
Shipping will be charged once I receive all the pins from the manufacturer. Expected to happen sometime late February 2026
As many as you like! If you plan to order a lot, choose a higher tier to save! You can also add more in the add-ons section!
Unfortunately, due to the nature of the campaign, there will be no refunds. All funds are used to pay for the manufacturing and your contribution is what makes that possible. If your items arrive damaged, please don't hesitate to reach out to me as I will handle that on a case-by-case basis to replace your damaged items. You typically have 30 days after all pins have shipped to make a claim. After the campaign has ended, you will have ample time to make your design selections in your BackerKit survey. You will be notified before surveys are locked down and any add-ons are charged. Once your order is locked down, we have a no refunds or exchanges policy. The only time we will issue a replacement is in extenuating circumstances, or if your pin arrives damaged. If you believe your pin was damaged in transit, please reach out to us and attach photos of the damaged pin.
The short answer, is yes and no. Due to the high cost of shipping my standard is untracked shipping via Canada Post to most locations. However, Canada & the US has tracking for 5+ pins. I will have the option to add tracked shipping as an upgrade in the pledge manager after the campaign ends.
I don't collect taxes in the campaign and as such you will be responsible for your own duties & taxes when the items arrive.

An important note about colour and size. It is crucial to understand that while we have made pins before, the pins in this campaign have not yet been manufactured. The designs you see on this page are mockups, which means the final product may vary in colour and size. From our experience, the majority of our pins turn out looking like the mockup design. Different computers, phones, and other devices have different screen settings which means coloration may vary between screens. Each mockup has a rough estimate of what the size will be. Our sizes are either specifying the general height or width of the pin. The actual size of the physical product may vary. Glitters, translucent enamel, sand blasted enamel, pearl enamel, and metal plating colors may vary on the physical product.
Once project shipping is completed, backers will be notified via a campaign update. This campaign update with have a final survey completion date. If your survey is not completed, and your shipping costs are not paid by the completion date, you will forfeit your pledge payment and rewards. We will not fulfill forfeited rewards and pledge levels after the completion date.
We make every attempt to get your package from our facility to your home. But sometimes packages are lost in the mail. We will notify backers with an update when the project is near completion and shipped. If you have not received your package by the completion of the shipping process, you will have an extended period of time to contact us about a missing package. Tracked shipping is available as an add-on during the pledge manager.

BackerKit FAQ
BackerKit Crowdfunding is an all-or-nothing collaborative funding platform. Creators share their project ideas and set a funding goal with a deadline. Backers pledge money to help make the project possible.
If the project meets its goal by the deadline, pledges are charged and the creator moves forward. If it doesn’t, no one is charged.
Backers often receive special rewards for their support, such as:
- Exclusive products
- Bonus rewards for backing related projects
- Discount pricing
- Behind-the-scenes updates
- Creative input opportunities
Pledging in crowdfunding is a commitment to support the creation of a new product or project. Unlike a traditional purchase, you're not buying an item that already exists. Instead, your contribution helps bring a creative idea to life, and in return, you typically receive rewards (such as the product itself) as a thank you for your early support.
- Select a pledge level with the reward(s) you would like to receive
- Select any add-ons
- Confirm your pledge!
- You are charged only if the campaign meets its funding goal.
- Charges happen when the campaign ends, not when you pledge.
The creator will send you a survey to:
- Ask you for more information about your rewards (selecting options, etc)
- Collect shipping information
- Offer additional items you may want to add to your pledge
- Collect shipping fees (if applicable)
The survey will be sent to the email address we have on file with your pledge. Additional payments are charged when you complete the survey.
Only the project creator and the BackerKit Support Team can see your pledge and contact information. Other backers and the public cannot see your individual pledge amount or personal details.
You can change or adjust your pledge level and add-ons before the campaign ends. After the project concludes, cancellations or changes are at the creator's discretion and may depend on what stage the project is in.
Overtime Mode extends your campaign past its original end time to give backers a final chance to make their pledge. It will add an additional 10 minutes past the end time as long as pledges keep coming in. The campaign will end when there is a 10-minute period without any new pledges.
