No Gods, No Masters is an anti-corporate height-crawl, a suicide-run on a megabuilding at the heart of Prospero’s Dream.

Beautiful cover art by Brayz!

METAStatic, Inc., has spread their capitalist tendrils into every colonized solar system, and a number of those not yet colonized, and currently has their sights set on the Dream. The players will take it upon themselves to burn this cancer out — or die trying. The adventure is a propulsive take on the depthcrawl, designed to pressure players to move as quickly as they can up the tower in order to confront the C-Suite at its peak.

A 36-page zine featuring:
  • Twenty-two levels of corporate banality and horror, each with their own event table
  • A table of Bad News, events that make things significantly worse the higher you climb
  • Tables for player motivations and secret agendas
  • Two modes of play: Go Loud and Snuck In
  • An NPC generator table to populate the tower
  • 6 C-Suite executives with their own personalities and agendas
  • A table of loadouts for players to choose from

Includes a ~45-minute original soundtrack composed by Snakes of Russia and a prequel zine adventure, Sphere of Influence, both of which will release digitally to everyone who backs at Believer (PDF of the zine) and above!

Work In Progress of the Levels, with a little preview of the interior art by Akumata and Haven Milne.

Each new level presents new dangers as the pressure on the players climbs with the height of the tower. No one said that cutting the head off the snake would be easy, after all.

Work In Progress

And here's a look at Sphere of Influence, a prequel adventure and warden's manual that is set before the events of No Gods, No Masters. It also includes guidance on how to integrate METAStatic, Inc., as an ongoing force in a campaign set on Prospero's Dream!

Writing on the module is most of the way there, with the biggest impacts to turnaround timeline will be the integration of additional pages if the respective stretch goals are hit. Writing is estimated to be complete in December 2025, after which point it will go to a first round of developmental editing. Layout work will occur concurrent to the initial developmental editing pass with those updates integrated into the layout work upon receipt. Following updates, the book will go through an additional developmental editing pass. Once that is received, final adjustments to text and layout will be made and the core version of the book will be finalized. Following that, the adjusted digital versions of the book will be developed – this includes the spread copy and print-friendly versions.

Writing, Design, and Layout: Nathan Taylor (ThereWolf! Games)

I am an TTRPG aficionado and lover of all things horror. As with most horror lovers of a certain age, I read Stephen King WAY too early and fell in love with the covers in the horror section of my local video store. This will be my second Mothership module and first crowd-funding campaign.

Developmental Editing: Josh Domanski

Josh is a writer, designer, development editor, and occasional actual play host, best known for his work as part of the Liminal Horror development team.

Cover Art: Brayz (aka Bryce Yzaguirre)

Brayz provided the absolutely gorgeous cover art which graces the front of the module. He is a designer and illustrator based in Oklahoma City. He holds a BFA in Graphic Design from Mississippi State University and enjoys creative exploration through new styles, mediums, and techniques.

Interior Illustrations: Haven Milne

Haven put together the corporate propaganda (corpaganda) that populates the interior of the module. He’s living and creating in Pembrokeshire, Wales, and is an autistic illustrator and print-maker focused on the medium of risography.

Graphic Design: Akumata

Akumata designed the central tower and blueprint designs for the individual levels. Fun fact: When designing the layout for the Cafeteria level, he included “Chicken” as a placeholder name for one of the kiosks, and it made me laugh so hard that I decided it needs to stay. He is a graphic designer specializing in pixel art.

Portraits: Marco

My dear friend Marco sketched out the absolute turds that your players will be hunting down over the course of the module. He is a Pennsylvania-based artist, and literally asked me to tell you nothing else about him, so don’t even look for him, okay?

Original Soundtrack: Snakes of Russia

Snakes of Russia (Joseph Holiday) is an LA-based musician and composer.

Patch Designs: Millie Landis (Thistle Finch Designs)

Millie is a PA-based illustrator and crafter. She's the maker behind Thistle Finch Designs, a folk-art inspired brand with a focus on juxtaposing traditional hand-crafting techniques with unexpected imagery and subject matter.

As part of Mothership Month 2025, those who back both No Gods, No Masters and Joshua & Michael Kramer’s Grim Merchants will receive a bonus piece of content for both modules! I’ll be producing a unique “Greed is Good” patch that will be exclusive to those that back both campaigns. Josh & Michael will be creating a pack of 4x6" postcard-sized digital Mission Cards, one for each Grim Merchant!

The merchants each have their own motives and rewards for setting your players up against METAStatic, Inc. Gear up, climb the tower, and burn it down!

This year, we're trying something different. Nearly every Mothership Month project is part of a shared shipping initiative. That means:

  • One pledge manager. When Mothership Month ends, you’ll receive one combined pledge manager survey for all participating projects — our “mega pledge manager.” That means just one survey and one shipping payment for multiple projects.
  • One shipping charge. Because these projects will ship together, you’ll only pay shipping once, saving you money.
  • One fulfillment timeline. All participating campaigns are scheduled to ship at the same time, ensuring your rewards arrive together.
  • Two exceptions. Only two creators (Bombs Bursting in Air and Roach Motel) have opted out of this group fulfillment plan; their shipping will be handled separately. Why did they opt out? These two projects are very close to being ready to fulfill, and it didn't make sense to their teams to wait.

Estimated Shipping

Below is a table of estimated shipping prices based on weight. You can see at the bottom what the estimated weights are for different items. Prospero's Dream should be around the same weight (maybe slightly lighter) than the Mothership Core Set. Additionally, if you order several items you'll incur a small charge for additional items, which varies based on your country.

This does not include any applicable VAT or taxes. A reminder that these shipping prices are an estimate and its possible they will change based on global conditions beyond our control.

When will these projects ship?
Our collective goal is to have all Mothership Month 2025 projects fulfilled before Mothership Month 2026 begins. Some projects are further along than others, so their timeline for digital rewards will vary. But we have roughly a year to fulfill before Mothership Month 2026, which gives everyone enough time to finish up and get their products to our warehouse.

What is Mothership Month?

Every year, Tuesday Knight Games and dozens of third-party creators launch new Mothership projects around a shared theme. This year’s theme (“The Dream Returns”) centers on Prospero’s Dream, the infamous X-Class back-world, black market space station. Each project ties back to the Dream in some way.  Not only that, but we'll be opening up Prospero's Dream as a shared setting for all third-party creators going forward.

Get your exclusive Supply Pod!

This year we're changing up the Supply Pods. Now there is just ONE BIG SUPPLY POD. It's unlocked once all projects fund and it improves as we hit more group achievements. How do you get the Supply Pod? Back 5 or more projects at the physical level and get access to all the cool goodies.
