I hope everyone is doing well. If anyone did not get their pledged items, could you please message me? It looks like I might have made a mistake setting up the SKUs on this project and have not gotten all the information I need. My fault entirely, and I'll do what I can to ship out missing items.
Books just got here, which is great! What isn't great is the condition of the boxes. This is the second batch of books that has been delivered in the past two weeks in terrible condition. With this most recent shipment, every single box was damaged in some fashion, and the printer is sending these out without any protection: no bubblewrap, styrofoam, or padding. I'm going to go through the boxes in the next few days and document any damage. I'm confident I'll be able to find enough undamaged copies to fulfill this KS, and will make that my top priority, but I also need to be diligent about it and make sure I take my time. I've set the addresses to lock, so if you need to make any changes to your address now is the time.
Just wanted to let y'all know that I've sent out the surveys. I'm going to go ahead and charge cards on Friday, and once that is done the pdf will be available for download. Print files are going out tomorrow, so it will likely be about a month before I have the physical books (for the offset version) or the proofs (for the POD versions). As I'm sure many of you have been aware, Drivethrurpg is raising pricing for softcover books due to tariff/supply issues. Anyone who backed at the POD level is going to be able to choose whether to get hard or softcover books, so if the price increase is too much for softcover for you just let me know and I can get you a hardcover code.
Thanks to everyone who backed. I'm in the process of setting up the Backerkit survey and should have it submitted for approval by the end of the weekend. Assuming it takes a couple days to approve, I'm aiming to send out surveys by the end of next week, and pdfs will go out then. I've revised the document a bit to change some stuff (chiefly, I didn't realize that the term "genasi" is not OGL), and I'd like to give it another editing pass before I send in the files for print. But we're on schedule, and I'll keep everyone updated as I go.
