Project Update: State of the Game
Hello everyone!
This is Tim, creator of Setting Off!, and we finally have a launch date: May 13th! I'd like to take a moment to talk about the current state of the game.
This is Tim, creator of Setting Off!, and we finally have a launch date: May 13th! I'd like to take a moment to talk about the current state of the game.
- All of the game text, including rules, character creation and creatures, is complete.
- The game has been reviewed by a dozen peers.
- About two thirds of the illustrations are complete.
- About half of the layout is complete.
- Character sheets and all additional assets are finalised.
So what's next? Throughout our campaign, we'll keep working on the layout and illustrations and expect to finish everything by Q3 2025! We need your support to cross the finish line and print the core rules, though! I've been working on Setting Off! for over two years and I'm very excited to reach this milestone with all of you!
