Today we’re sharing more details on the TOMY+ 1:10 K.I.T.T. replica. The FAQ answers include important design updates over the prototype you’ve seen in photos and videos. Every adjustment brings this limited-edition K.I.T.T. one step closer to the high-quality, show-accurate replica we’ve set out to create.

WHICH FUNCTIONS ARE VOICE ACTIVATED?
Only K.I.T.T. responses are voice activated, all other functions are touch activated.
WILL ALL OF THE SPOKEN VOICE LINES COME FROM SEASON 4, OR WILL SOME LINES COME FROM OTHER SEASONS?
We are pleased to announce that lines will include iconic K.I.T.T. phrases from all 4 seasons!
WILL THE VOICE MODULATOR BE SYNCHRONIZED TO K.I.T.T.'S VOICE?
The voice box modulator will undulate and will simulate the modulator from the show as much as possible at a 1:10 scale.
WILL IT PLAY THE THEME MUSIC FROM THE SHOW?
No, the replica will not play the theme music from the show.
WILL THE FRONT SCANNER STILL FUNCTION IN SUPER PURSUIT MODE?
Yes, the Scanner will still work in Super Pursuit Mode.
WILL THE DASHBOARD BE BACKLIT BY A SINGLE LIGHT/WILL THE LIGHT LEAK BE ADDRESSED IN THE FINAL MODELS?
The dashboard will be lit by individual LEDs and the light leak seen in the prototype will be improved in the final model backers receive.
WILL THE WHEELS BE UPDATED FROM THE PROTOTYPE IN THE FINAL MODELS?
Yes, the wheels will be made of PVC plastic and will be updated to match the wheels of K.I.T.T. in season 4 of the show.
WILL THE HOOD OR TRUNK OPEN?
No, the hood and trunk will not open.
WHAT WILL THE SEATS BE MADE OF?
The seats will be made of plastic and are not adjustable.
WILL IT HAVE A CONVERTIBLE MODE?
No, since the replica comes with the emergency brake system attached to the top of the car, it will not have a convertible mode.
WILL THE BOTTOM OF THE REPLICA BE DETAILED?
Yes, the bottom of the car will also be detailed!
