Solarpunk trilogy digital rewards are on the way!

Just a quick update today to let you know that the Critter Mech Squad is live, so I've sent backers who either earned the collaboration bonus or selected the solarpunk trilogy add-on the whole digital kit of Solar Mech Squad, Critter Mech Squad, and Ranger Mech Squad on DriveThruRPG!

You should get a notice directly from DTRPG with your download link this morning.  If you are expecting it but do not recieve it, please let me know by emailing [email protected] and I'll double check what's in the surveys to help correct any issues.

New devlog covers proof copy, reorders, slides and more

I've released a new devlog today on TTRPGkids that goes over the latest status on A Construct's Nature (and other TTRPGkids projects)!  The main items for this update include some issues that I found with the proof copy and how they're being fixed, timing status, and how the slides are coming along (and how many it ended up being)!

Hi all!

Dropping a quick update to remind everyone that campaign surveys and the pre-order store lock in a few days, so please make sure to submit your address, adjust your order, pick your add-ons, and/or place your post-campaign order (if you missed the campaign) ASAP!

After orders lock, I'll be sending out the solarpunk game trilogy digital copies and calculating shipping based on the list of countries and associated packages submitted to the surveys.  I plan to send out the shipping collection survey within a month to prep for fulfillment.

Hello all!

This is just a quick update to cover a few basics!

Survey correction:
First, there was an error with the survey where it wasn't adding in your cross-collab bonuses automatically - this has been corrected, so you'll see the solarpunk game combo now if you participated in the cross-collab event and backed both ACN and BOW.  Thank you to the friendly backer who pointed this out!!

Last chance to pre-order at current price:
Second, if you missed the campaign but still want to order a copy, the pre-order store is available for a short while!  I would recommend getting your books here, especially if you are thinking of getting a physical copy, since the price will increase after the lock order date due to increased printing costs.  I'm keeping the campaign and pre-order store prices where they are (i.e. it will still show $24 in the survey), but this will be increasing after the pre-order store closes and final post-campaign price will depend on where the print cost sitaution sits at that time.

Proof copies + updates moving to TTRPGkids website dev log:
Proof copies came in this morning!  I'm excited to share the pictures below, and, if you want more detail, I'm moving to having regular dev logs on the TTRPGkids site where I can share more media and cover all my projects at the same time.  I'll still be sending updates here, but please check out the post here as well!

Hello all!

Here's the latest status on A Construct's Nature!  I hope you enjoy this update, and please make sure to fill out your surveys if you haven't yet (this will help me to get your rewards to you on time)!

Timing (still on track)

A Construct's Nature is still on track!!  I have word from the printer that the test print is done and in the mail, so I'll hopefully a picture for you next update, and I've been formatting the slides since to make sure they transition between scenes properly, formatting carries over for the art, and you can hop between slides in the big decision tree when making choices for your character.

Surveys on the way!

All surveys have been sent out to collect your addresses for shipping calculations AND to confirm if you'd like to include any add-ons in your order!  While this is going on, the pre-order shop is live and includes most campaign options to choose from, should you want to pre-order a copy but missed the campaing.  You find the pre-order store here: https://a-construct-s-nature.backerkit.com/survey_stores

Add-ons status

The updated print file for Critter Mech Squad has arrived and, this time, came out great!  Here's a snapshot, and, once the core game slides are finished and in sound editing, my next priority is to get this set up on DTRPG so the digital versions can be sent out shortly after the lock order date on the surveys.   

Stretch goals status

I've reached out to both the organization that would be using the EDU games as part of their curriculum and to the sponsor who generously supported one of the games.  Once I hear back and some of the core game elements are a little further along, I'll be diving into these and still expect June timing for completion!

Greeting Games - live, funded, and unlocking stretch goals

Greeting Games, my current campaign, has crossed the 24hrs left mark!  It's inching towards that final stretch goal (as of sending this, it is $21 away!) - if you've been thinking about checking it out, now's your chance!

Hi all!

Timing (still on track)

A Construct's Nature is still on track - layout is complete, and it's going through one final check before test printing!  The test print is estimated to arrive at the end of April, at the latest, and, if all looks good, we should be ready to go!  If there's any issues with the test print, there's time to get one more in before fulfillment planned date in mid-June, and I'll keep you updated as things progress.  While waiting for the test prints, I'll be working on finalizing the slides and the digital version of the game (since the formatting is slightly different). 

Surveys on the way!

The first round of surveys (about 5% to check that they work OK) have gone out, and the rest will be short to follow!  Keep an eye on your inbox since these surveys will collect your address info and finalize your order kit so that we can figure out the shipping cost.  There will be a second survey that goes out after this one closes - based on your answers to the first one, I'll be going through each order to find the lowest cost way to ship to your location and the latest VAT or other applicable fees and then we'll handle shipping.

Add-ons status

The updated print file for Critter Mech Squad has finished and is in the mail, estimated to arrive in the next couple weeks.  Once that's cleared, I'll be able to release it and start sending out digital copies to anyone who has completed their surveys! 

Stretch goals status

During the campaign a couple extra educational TTRPGs (for free digital use) were unlocked as well!  I'm finishing up the core game slides and the add-on zines first, and then I'll be working on these two games as well.  I anticipate they'll be completed in time for June and will start including status in here as well.

Greeting Games - live, funded, and unlocking stretch goals

My next project, Greeting Games, is also now live!  We've funded and are hitting stretch goals, having already unlocked all 20 different designs (that will ALL be included in the $10 digital bundle).  This campaign has several different games or TTRPG references on cards and postcards, and we're currently working on some extras beyond the cards: a library donation goal AND a goal for a short story set that I'm making with my kiddo (which will be available free to anyone supporting $10 or more, if it's funded).
