Lyla will now be part of the writing team, creating a whole new mystery for the game!
So far, we have 6 pre-made mysteries going into the zine (both physical and digital), and I'm thinking we can add a few more too. Our next stretch goal writer is Dan from Almost Bedtime Theater, and I'm curious to see what he has planned!

With this update, I also want to talk about one of the main features of Mystery Snacks, which is our formatting. Thanks to some wonderful work from BoRyan of Gravy Press, we have a fun cookbook style layout to help with following the "recipe" for the mystery!
Each section is grouped in a way that helps you hone in on what part of the adventure you're referencing, and our breakdown includes what I have always seen as the core elements of a mystery - a good hook, interesting suspects, intriguing clues, dramatic challenges, and a satisfying reveal.
What if Worldis a storytelling podcast for young audiences where action is driven by dice rolls! I've played a game on one of their episodes before, and they are some cool folks.
Later today, the poll for my Zinetopia 1-pager will be closing! There's a couple options that are pretty close, so cast your vote today to help pick what bonus game will be part of the Zinetopia collaboration zine AND going out to all Mystery Snacks backers as an extra bonus.
I'm planning to have another update + poll on Monday, so until then, thank you for your continued support and... happy gaming!!
