About Import Taxes In most countries, books are exempt from (or have reduced) import taxes and The Exorcist’s Codex is officially classified as a book. If you live in a country that normally doesn’t charge import tax on books but were still billed by your courier (usually FedEx), you can typically request a refund directly from them. Sometimes couriers apply duties automatically without checking the shipment contents. Unfortunately, this is beyond our control, so any refund requests must be handled between you and the courier.
