Hello everyone, i come bearing GREAT NEWS

THE BOOKS ARE FINALLY PRINTED AUGHGUWEERHGHEIROWSEGGHHHAAAA

What does this mean?

Well, it means i finally know what they weigh, and I finally have some sense of when things will be sent out which means i can FINALLY CHARGE SHIPPING SO DON'T BE SCARED WHEN YOU SEE THAT CHARGE

Prices ended up about where I said they would be, $12 USD for US, $5 for CA, and about $16 for everyone else. 

The books will be arriving TO ME next week, probably by Wednesday. I will do my very best to get everything ready for shipping as quickly as possible. Estimated times are 3-6 days for North America, and 7-10 for everyone else. So by March 15, everyone *should* get their books. For some of you it may be as early as March 7! I will update again when the books have shipped.

(By the way, did you know that ARC readers have unanimously given it 5 stars??? That's fucking nuts)

Hi everyone,

I've gotten a slightly closer date for print, which should be end of February. I hope to have books to all of you by mid-March. Thank you again for your patience!

Once some of the physical backers have received their copies, all digital rewards will be released. I won't wait for everyone to get theirs, but i will wait for confirmation that the physical backers are getting their packages.

Boombride is officially OFF to the printers at Houghton Boston in Saskatoon. I'll receive a test print in approximately 2 weeks, and assuming everything looks good we'll get in line for the full print run. I'll update when I know a more concrete delivery date.

21 days ago, we began this campaign. For me, it started long before that. Preparing. Commissioning art. Making ads. Editing the hell out of the book. Making videos. Editing again. Taking passes at the sequel while i procrastinated on doing more campaign stuff. Writing a grant. Working for my kid's school. Every day i checked the numbers. We blew past the initial goal in a day, and from then on a slow trickle of pledges combined to become a river, and then a mighty cascade.

In 21 days, you helped me go from ordering 100 digital-print books with mediocre colours to 200 conventional print books. In this campaign, we sold over 100 paperbacks and over 150 ebooks.

Most indies don't get that. Most indies don't make a profit, much less a good one.

And it's all going into the next book. A high-tier editor. Another cover from Kholbatar (you think i'd just let her go???). More art. More stickers. More brides.

And trust me. When you get to the last page, you're gonna be glad I'm working quickly on book 2. Don't be mad.

Trust me. I know what you want. I know what you need. And it's the same thing I do.

Thanks for coming on this ride with me. I'll be sending updates about shipping, print timelines, and other businessy crap in the coming weeks. I'll post the timeline here again for reference. I expect March delivery is the most likely. Ebooks will go out when i have confirmation of paperback receipts.
