Cross-Collab: There's Cryptids

The one-shot's premise stems from an interesting discussion me and Andrew had about the 'Wirral Cat Man', the UCR Succubus and acid rain.
Andrew will write the first draft, and I’ll handle layout and artwork. Since this is a digital reward, we’re prioritising the physical rewards first to stay on track for the July deadline.
Artwork Update
Last month's poll placed #3 as the most popular Sniffer concept, which was my favourite too. I love that the victim’s nose has been replaced by the creature’s own nostrils(?) on the back of its caterpillar/slug body.
Angler
Above is concept art for another Chapter 3 creature: the Angler. Inspired by how a male anglerfish gets absorbed and essentially becomes a vestigial appendage. I imagined a person reduced to nothing more than a mouth and a lure. And what better lure than a free firearm, because I figure that's gonna be pretty hard for a Mothership player to pass up.

Prospero Protocols
I took a break over Christmas and New Year while my family were visiting me here in the Netherlands. The layout is complete but not finalised as I typically continue to adjust it during the illustration phase. The next major step will be illustration so hence why there isn’t much artwork to show now.
I’ll be streaming while I'm illustrating on my YouTube channel so you’ll be able to watch the process live, feel free to pop-in and say 'hi'.
I have already started illustrating some of the horrors. Below is a 'Sniffer'from Chapter Three: an alien slug that turns its host into a zombie and can detect raised cortisol levels (meaning it actively hunts the most stressed characters). Please vote in the poll to let me know which version you prefer.
Early Bird Patch
Based on the results of the last update’s poll, I finalised the Android Clown design. This has now been sent to the patch-maker and the patches should be arriving at the US warehouse later this month, ready for distribution.
Zine Quest
On February 1st, I’ll be launching a new crowdfunding campaign for my next Mothership tri-fold, CAIN SUN. In this module, players take on the role of alien parasites competing to control a single human host.
You can probably tell I'm vibing parasites right now. If that sounds interesting, I’d really appreciate you checking out the campaign page and signing up to be notified when it goes live.
Why launch another crowdfunding campaign when Prospero Protocols isn’t finished yet?
Creating Mothership content is my full-time job and Mothership Month (October) and Zine Quest (February) are the two crowdfunding events in the year that make it sustainable. Skipping either of them is not something I can realistically do.
This will not impact delivery. Fulfilment for Mothership Month is being handled by Tuesday Knight Games and won’t begin until later this year. Even if Prospero Protocols were finished today, it would still be waiting for that same fulfilment window before it could be shipped.
I won’t begin production work on CAIN SUN until Prospero Protocols is finished. Prospero Protocols remains my priority, I can't wait to share my rules for psychic players with you and to hear your stories about what happened in your games. I’ve successfully delivered all of my previous crowdfunding campaigns, I stream my work publicly and I’m always contactable if you have questions or want to check in on progress.

Prospero Protocols This is the main area of work right now. There’s nothing really visually interesting to share yet as I’m currently just revising the text, improving it and playtesting elements of it.
Aurora Aurora is the first Mothership module I wrote, it has now been updated to 1E and was first offered to my Mothership Month backers as an add-on. As part of that update we’ve created new cover art to distinguish the editions and I can share a WIP of that new cover here:
