Hello! Weird Works had a fun, but stressful time at PAX West, we're settled back in and back into the making scary adventures part of the job. We did run Quarryton Calamity as a level one DCC adventure, and I'm pretty happy with the way the horror is layering on.

One thing that has become apparent is the adventure is very difficult to run as a one-shot. I've run a lot of Goodman Games' adventures, and I'd say it's about the length of The Emerald Enchanter. I'll have guidance included on how to run the game in a 4-hour con session.

Here's new art from Kurt Komoda, who is the primary artist on both Tournament of Pigs and Quarryton. (He also did our Backerkit cover art.)

Next update, we'll have art from Chris Arneson (famed DCC artist alum), and Damir Podraski (who did the wheel in Tournament of Pigs as well as other chests/gadgets featured in the adventure.)

Apologies for the lateness of the update. I'll try to keep more on top of the updates as we move forward. I realize now looking at this update this should have been broken up into several. I've set a calendar reminder to update you all on progress every second Friday until fulfillment.

I'll be sending the Pledgemanager smoke test after I post this update. In conjunction to our flat $5 US shipping fees, we've added a split shipping fee of $5 as an Add-On if you are in the US and want to get the Add-Ons portions of your pledge early. 

The only thing besides the actual Quarryton zine itself that isn't on hand to ship are the new Peter Mullen stamps but those have arrived in the US, and we expect to have them on next week. 

The new Peter Mullen Quest Complete stamp has arrived, and we're just waiting for local delivery to Weird Works headquarters (my garage.) Here are some pictures of the finished stamp from the manufacturer.

Although blue won the poll, we had to do royal purple instead of royal blue due to the issues with the viscosity of the blue ink and the design. The manufacturer couldn't guarantee a good impression with the blue, so we decided to play it safe with the second most popular vote. These stamps (and all our stamps) are 3" x 3".

I'll be running the Quarryton Calamity twice at PAX West. So if you want to come try the adventure out with me, it will be in the Library of Alexandria open games area. Just let me know you're a backer.

Kurt has completed his artwork so I'll have four pieces to share on that in the next update. Chris Arneson is going to be doing the illustration for the lost level which features a horrific new monster.

Additionally, we've brought on Jantiff, an fantastic horror illustrator in Australia.
