Project Update: Whew! Back from GenCon!

Hey Everyone! We got back from GenCon earlier this week and it has been an absolute whirlwind around here since the return.

It was a a great show and many of you came up to speak to us in the Wet Ink Games booth, and tell us about how excited you are about this project. Sen was around to sign some games, and talk with a few fans, and Banana continues to be the busiest person in gaming.

We have 8 days left and will be doing everything we can to push this one over the edge, so keep spreading the word!

Project Update: We’ll be back!

Hey everyone! After discussing with the team and creators, we have decided to take a step back and take a slightly different approach to the project in order to be more successful for you all.

We’ll make sure to be in touch with any changes as all of this continues.

Thank you so much for your continued support. We couldn’t do any of this without you and your support.

Project Update: Come see us at GenCon! (Booth 2659)

A huge thank you to all of you as we keep moving forward towards our funding goal! We are very appreciative and we're going to keep spreading the word.

If any of you are making the trek to GenCon in Indianapolis this weekend, we would LOVE to meet you and thank you in person.

The Wet Ink Games booth is 2659 and we'll have a number of our creators for various projects at the booth throughout the convention. Banana and Sen will be stopping by as their tremendously busy schedules allow, and Doug Levandowski (one of the designers of HOME) will be coming by as well.

Project Update: It's been a good day! Now for the Jiangshi...

Thank you everyone for the early support. We truly appreciate it, and are excited to be trying out the BackerKit crowdfunding platform for the first time. We'll have some fun polls in the Discussions section of the page, and updates with details about the awesome members of our creative team to share as we move through the campaign.

First up is the extremely talented co-designer of the game Banana Chan!!!

Banana Chan is a Cantonese Canadian game designer, writer and publisher living in the US. Her most notable work has been on Forgery, Jiangshi: Blood in the Banquet Hall, Van Richten’s Guide to Ravenloft and Betrayal at House on the Hill: 3rd Edition. They won Dicebreaker Awards' Game Designer of the Year 2022 and 2 Silver ENnie Awards in 2022.

Project Update: Almost at 200 Backers!

Hey everyone! Another great day. We're making progress towards our funding goal, and have some other cool stuff planned. There was a live actual play last night which you can find HERE if you're interested.

You can help move us towards a social goal by following Wet Ink Games on Instagram using the link in the Discussions section. When we reach that goal, two more NEW Mung Cards will be added to the Dream Card Expansion.

Now, it's time to get to know a little bit more about the other half of this dynamic designer duo!

Sen-Foong Lim
Sen (he/him) is the other half of the designing/writing team for Jiangshi. He is an award-winning designer with multiple card and board games under his belt such as Mind MGMT and Junk Art. He also has done  scenarios for Kids on Bikes, Never Going Home, Gears of Defiance, The Curse of the House of Rookwood, and The North Sea Epilogues, and is a designer on the upcoming Fast Cars and Family from Wet Ink Games. When ordering dim sum, Sen always gets the tripe and the chicken feet. Always.

Not to leave the original creative team out, here is the amazing collection of talent who helped bring the original game Jiangshi: Blood in the Banquet hall to life! We want to make sure they are acknowledged for all the hard work they did with the project the first time around.
