Heyo!

First, the mega pledge manager is out now, that also contains the preorder store so you can get our stuff if you missed it! The PDF, physical, Tar Pit Protocol and stickers!

In march we made nice progress with the art, however, the artist had some family issues and I spent like a week and a half being nothing but a machine that consumes anti-flu medicine and nothing else. Lucky for me, that time happened as I was waiting for revisions to be made.

Character artist is doing some work on the patch now that the patch place finally sent us a preview.

I wanted to release the full PDF before April, forgetting that I needed names from some you and the mega pledge didn't go out until last week.

I'm gonna be sending the main PDF Early Access soon as promised.

Also will start working trifold's art and design soon, as the content has been done for a while now.

I'm still not fully out of anti-flu medicine consumption machine mode, but at least it's just an annoying, debilitating cough now, my ribs hurt every time I cough but oh well, almost healed now!


Everything's looking good with our times

February went by kinda quick, with the whole it having 28 days thing and all.

This update's quick and simple, most of the graffiti art is done! We are going through some revisions, the LD sticker design is also done (will add it to backer only content), and the patch design is getting some revisions as well!

The PDF feels so close to done that I've been wanting to hold it a bit longer before sending it, however, if by the last week of March I'm still not done, I'll send it, to adhere to the Q1 promise!

We just got sketches from the graffiti artists! I'm gonna send this on the exclusive content for backers just because of how early they are, I've already sent feedback, you can see how some are even on a notebook first before going digital, that's how you know how OG they are.

Our character designer is learning pixel art and made this cute (ANIMATED) LD!

Early Access PDF was set for Q1, that one's coming soon, as you can see on the previews on the backer exclusive pic, pages are practically done, there are so few things missing that I could even send it right now as it (but give me a bit longer to at least input the 1d100 random search table in the back)

Hope everyone's having happy holidays!
This one will be quick so you can go back to enjoying them.

Progressing through these have been fun, graffiti and big titles are still placeholders, and overall everything is still a WIP until we have everything we need, but compared to what we had going on, this is such a leap and we love it!

Given the dates, we might not be able to get together to play Mothership RPG :( but other than that, Plasma has been keeping me updated with them going through the content and planning who's gonna do what, but with all the festivities, this will start moving towards January

We are still on board for this! So as soon as pledge manager is up and we can send stuff over to you, you'll get it!

Well, first and foremost: sorry for the radio silence, the plan was to take a week to relax and then things got very intense with my (Abrah) human job, so I was getting home super drained to take a bath, cook and go to sleep. I did, however, meet with Plasma, more info on that on this update.

A huge thanks for your support! Lucid Dreaming reached it's funding goal and we unlocked two extra artists! Plus a free pamphlet adventure!

Speaking of, our final artist is VICER, who goes hard on handwriting, and even though he had an accident (while graffitiing, of course) back in 2018 that put him on a wheelchair for life, that hasn't stopped him from doing what he loves!

As you can see, and if you've already started to recognize them, Vicer has already worked with Criter (top right, and bottom left as well but their tags on the far left got cut with the edit) and Plasma (top left). Plasma asked me if we could have some artist on wheels rep on the art and we are gonna make it happen!

Also, I asked my CTO (yeah, CTO), whose a retired graffiti artist (although he's from the pack that says that graffiti is not art but a way to represent and mark territory so don't let him catch us referring to him as one) from way back home (Venezuela) if he'd be interested in doing something small for the project, he was reluctant at first but said he was going to think about it.

Finish writing + editing, restructure some of the layout and place art. Patches are the first thing I'm gonna look into bringing to the real world, I already met with Plasma and the dates look great, starting to work on December, looking to deliver on early February. I offered her to get all the artists together and have them play Mothership, that'd be fun, first time for any of them playing a TTRPG, if that happens I'll 100% let you know.

Expect at least one monthly update

We're gonna open them soon, and since we weren't that far from the next stretch goal, let's see if we hit it on the preorders! So if you missed the campaign, you'll have a second chance to get the goodies. For anyone wondering, this time around we are gonna offer everything on the preorders except the early bird rewards. Not as low as the campaign, but you'll still have a chance to get the sticker packs with 8 stickers (one per artist), as well as the Tar Pit Protocol pamphlet adventure, and if we manage to, you'll also get the Lucid Overlays rules expansion!
