Project Update: Locking Surveys + Pre-Order Store Closes Tonight!
Hello everyone!
Surveys will be locked tonight at 11:59 PM Pacific time. This only applies to submitted surveys. If you have not completed yours yet due to paying with installments or otherwise, you will still be able to so even after they are locked. For those of you who have completed your survey, you will no longer be able to make changes after today so please make any adjustments before the deadline. You will still be able to edit your address if necessary. We will not lock addresses until closer to fulfillment. Just a reminder that shipping has not been charged yet, and will be charged once the plushies are on the way to me.
Backers who are paying with installments will receive surveys after full payment has been received. The last installment is scheduled for the end of August, so they will go out shortly after the last payment has been processed.
The pre-order store will also be closing tonight at 11:59 PM Pacific time. If you missed out on the campaign, it is your last chance to order any of the Scary Cats for the discounted price. Once they arrive on my website later this year, they will be more expensive.

Project Update: Smoke Test Surveys are out + Pin Samples
Hello everyone!
The smoke test surveys have been sent out! Please check your email to see if you received the survey and fill it out asap!
The smoke test is only sent out to 5% of backers, so if you did not receive an email today, don't worry! If everything is functioning properly, the rest of the surveys will go out tomorrow!!

I think they turned out sooo cute! I am so excited for them! If you did not add one to your pledge during the campaign, you are able to do so through your survey.

Hello everyone! Happy Friday!
Surveys have been sent out! You are able to access them from your email or through your Backerkit account. If you have any questions about this, please email me at [email protected].
Please fill them out as soon as possible! Once I have an estimate on how many of each plush to order, I will confirm with my manufacturer and get production started!

The tote bag sample arrived yesterday so here are some pics of it! I really like how it turned out!

Project Update: Fix failed payments + Pre-Order Store Now Open
Hello Everyone! Happy Wednesday!
It's been one week since the campaign has ended, which means that there is only one week left to fix failed payments. Please check to ensure that your payment method has gone through, otherwise you will not receive your survey or get your rewards.
Surveys are expected to go out Friday 6/13 for all backers. We will send out the smoke test on Thursday 6/12. The smoke test is where 5% of backers receive their surveys to ensure they are functioning properly. I will send updates when they go out!
The pre-order store is now open! If you missed out on the campaign, you can get any of the plushies or pins through the store. We will keep it open until the end of the month. If you backed the campaign, please do not use the pre-order store as orders will not combine with your pledge. This will cause you to be charged for shipping twice. You will be able to add any additional items to your pledge through your survey once they go out.

Project Update: Project Update: Scary Cats Campaign Has Ended + Next Steps!
Hello Everyone!
First, I want to thank you all so so much for a successful campaign! We reached all 10 goals! So that means all of the Scary Cat designs are going to be made!
Now that the campaign is over, let's talk about what happens next.
Cards are being charged
Starting today, your card on file will be charged for your pledge. Please make sure that your card information is correct. Cards that fail will be retried again for a two week period. If your payment method fails, please update your information ASAP. Backers whose payment methods do not go through will not receive a survey and will be dropped from the project.
First, I want to thank you all so so much for a successful campaign! We reached all 10 goals! So that means all of the Scary Cat designs are going to be made!
Now that the campaign is over, let's talk about what happens next.
Cards are being charged
Starting today, your card on file will be charged for your pledge. Please make sure that your card information is correct. Cards that fail will be retried again for a two week period. Once cards are charged and all backers are confirmed, surveys will be sent out. In your surveys, you will be able to choose the plushies styles you want and add any additional items to your pledge. Backers who chose pay over time will not receive a survey until full payment is met.
Please note: Shipping will be charged closed to fulfillment time, instead of when surveys go out. You will be charged separately several months from now. So I just wanted to give everyone a heads up for that, I will remind everyone again when we get closer to that date.

I am working on setting up a pre-order store here on Backerkit for those who missed the campaign. It will only be open for a limited time. All of the Scary Cat Plushies, pins, stickers, and the tote bag will be available for purchase. Please only use the pre-order store if you did not back the campaign, as you will be charged for shipping twice.

I am currently getting samples made of the tote bag and pins. I will share sample pictures as soon as I receive them!
Expected Ship Date + Other Info
Right now, I am setting the expected ship date for the plushies in November. I am hoping that they will arrive to me sooner than that so that they can be shipped to you before Halloween, but I sadly cannot guarantee anything. As time goes on, I will know more about expected ship date!
Once I receive the funds from the campaign and the surveys are filled out (minus the pay later backers), I will place the plushie order with my manufacturer. I will send more updates about this later.
