Just letting you know that I finished Glaceon/Leafeon - even though we didn't hit the amount of 20 orders for these designs I decided to just self-fund the rest of the amount since I wanted a full set of Eeveelutions eventually and it'd be convenient for people to get them on this campaign.
Here they are!
EDIT: I think that this design will actually look better with their forth leg added in as a shadow, this will be fixed so please just focus on the general shape of them.
If you'd like to adjust your pledge and add them on, please return to your link to your survey and add them on manually. I will be locking orders down at the end of the week (or a bit earlier) so that I can get the total counts to my manufacturer. I'm hoping to have fulfillment no later than the end of April for this campaign, which is a fast turnaround - thank you to those who have answered your surveys and a reminder for the rest of you who are holding off on answering it to please answer it ASAP. Please also make sure that you have clicked that you have *submitted* your survey. I see quite a few people who have added items and choices but have not submitted it with a payment method. Due to the tight window that I am trying to achieve - if you don't have a payment method attached and submit your survey at the end of this week (this doesn't apply to those who have already paid for your pledge, this only goes for those who have NOT paid for your pledge NOR attached a payment method to your survey) - or you don't let me know that you're trying to fix your payment method your pledge will be dropped so please reach out to me [email protected] to let me know if you are having any issues! I'm more than happy to help or accommodate if you are having any issues, but I need to know if I'm planning to order enough for you too.
This will likely be my last update for a while as I'm trying to work with my manufacturer now for production and I just wanted to give multiple head's up.
Hi everyone! Just a head's up is that we are around 75% answered, thank you so much to those who have answered so quickly!
Designs/Counts:
(FYI I'm trying to get a head start on this project, which includes getting "counts" and totals for everything. Some designs are staggering at substantially low numbers and I'm going to need to do some decision making so I need totals ASAP.) Additionally, Leafeon / Glaceon do not appear to be able in great condition to be funded. 75% answered already and we're still roughly 9 more orders are needed each (I was trying to get at least 20 orders for them each). They're likely not going to meet funding goals at this rate but if you're thinking about them please edit your survey accordingly. Again, I'm fine with either outcome this but just need totals. You will not be charged for them if they're unable to be funded. More details on this later when I'm closer to 90% answered.
Please answer your survey: If you still have a survey unanswered, please answer them as soon as possible. I am not charging them immediately, but maybe in roughly a few weeks - so please answer your surveys ASAP and let me know if you need me to hold off on charging you. Otherwise I'll be charging everyone in mid to late March, either way - please get these surveys in ASAP!
Dropping Unpaid Pledges Soon (if you have not reached out to me): Thank you to those who have reached out to me to let me know about fixing your pledge - for those of you who have not reached out and I am unable to confirm your pledge I will be dropping your pledge in roughly a week! I'm trying to be lenient, but I was aware of the time-crunch coming up for this project hence why I encouraged people to drop their pledge if they weren't serious about it before the campaign ended. Please pay for your pledge as soon as possible or reach out to me if you are experiencing delays because if I don't hear back and I'm not sure what's going on then I will have to assume that you're no longer interested in the project. I understand that Pintopia is a time where people's banks might be a little flinchy so I'm trying to give it a few weeks, so please communicate this with me if you're working on fixing any issues on your end so that I'm aware if you wanted to keep your pledge.
That's a quick update for now, thank you all for your patience and understanding with this project! I promise I'm usually not this pushy but I'm trying to get a quicker turnaround for this project so that you can all get your pins faster as well.
Have a great weekend, please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or issues, I am also available on weekends.
All surveys have now been sent out. Please remember to fill them out as soon as possible so that I have accurate counts.
I know some of you are still waiting on your payments to be fixed, that's completely OK. I'll be checking in on a weekly period for around a month to send surveys out to those of you who still need to fix payment. (Per the way Backerkit works, surveys only are allowed to be sent upon payment of your pledge.)
Feel free to also contact me [email protected] as soon as you pay if you'd like me to send your survey to you then and I'll manually send it!
Having an accurate count is particularly important for this campaign - I'll reiterate this but I do not plan on ordering a large amount of left-overs and all left-overs will be reserved for conventions this year. Any "in-hands" will be leftovers from conventions this year and will be uploaded in mid August.
Two of my designs (MS Pinkbean and MS Yeti) had no orders so far and I'd like to cancel production of them if nobody is interested since the molds are extremely expensive, so I really need accurate counts. Because I have had to fund the rest of this year's Pintopia out of pocket I'm trying to manage my funds and time on products that people want so it'd be very helpful to get these surveys in ASAP since I really don't want to make molds and produce pins that nobody's going to want. It'd be helpful for me to understand if there is any demand for the MS Pinkbean or Yeti or if I should be looking to cancel them (either way is fine with me BTW! I just want to know how to manage my resources ASAP ^_^ )
Designs that move slowly will not be restocked once sold out and I can't tell you what they are because I don't know how well an item will sell. In order to reserve a pin for yourself, please be sure to add them on during your campaign and submit your survey ASAP.
Just last call for the last 48 hours of this campaign. Please remember to adjust your pledges accordingly.
All pins except Glaceon and Leafeon are unlocked. I may make them unlockable in the pre-order shop like I did last year with Umbreon/Espeon if they don't hit the 4.5k unlock goal here.
If you need to drop, that is *completely OK* (please take care of yourself, these are just pins and your needs come first) but I ask that you do so before the campaign ends rather than ghost (purposely don't pay) for the pledges as I need final total estimates in the end! ( ^ - ^ )
Additionally, I will be at some conventions this year and have decided that I'll be reserving all left-over stock for my conventions. Any left-overs after Anime Expo this year will be listed afterwards but this will not be until September and this will only be for left-over pins. Not all pins are guaranteed a restock since I don't have the space for all designs made. This also goes from previous Pintopia pins. I will be listing them all as add-ons in the survey, so please feel free to grab any of those when you see them since once several of these designs are sold out, they're sold out. I also don't plan on overstocking this year's pins like I did last year.
If you want first dibs for a lower price and also guarantee stock at some pins from this campaign, I encourage you to do so during the campaign is running.
A little over a week remains and just a reminder all but Glaceon/Leafeon are unlocked. I think that we might see a small bump towards the end of the campaign.
Since a lot of you mentioned wanting Glaceon, I've decided to wait and see at the end of the campaign to see what our numbers are. I'll be monitoring the situation and start rendering Glaceon/Leafeon if I think that we're going to get close to the $4.5k goal.
I don't have much of an enamel pin audience (still trying to build my audience) so pardon if I post this here, but I was thinking of doing Project Voltage pins soon and wanted to get some feedback.
Thinking of doing some trainer pins and wanted to see what people prefer.
I was thinking of doing some trainer pins (especially project voltage) and wondered if people preferred that they were option:
A. around 2.5 inches tall, bust-up, and 3 inches wide (larger portrait) around $25~30 USD/badge B. if people liked if they were closer to 2x2, roughly around lower neck-up and "badge"-like. around $20 USD/badge
The issue is mostly my thoughts of having enough funding to unlock the larger portraits and the cost it would take to make, so I might make less. With having them be smaller, it would be easier to make a wider variety of them and unlock more because the cost would also be lower as well.
Also happy to listen to suggestions about what trainers you might want me to add! I don't know if I'll do ALL of the project voltage pins, here's the ones I have drafted so far.
