Just a quick update to present the latest update of the working-production document. Linked at the end of this update.

A couple of caveats, as always;

1] the cover is what we call "Flats", meaning not the final colours, just placesetting.
2] the layout and writing is FAR from done, so don't judge or edit just yet.

You can 100% play with the current version, so get started and tell us about your games!

Now for some sad news.

Oliver Castaneda, after delivering the cover, has had to drop out of the project due to mental health reasons. We won't go into detail beyond that, as it is his private business, but I am sure you will all join me in wishing him and his family nothing but positive vibes and a strong future. He will be missed on the project.

What does this mean for HEROIC? Well your boy Bear went out and shock every tree he could and assembled an all-star team of artists to jump in and get us over the finish line and they are;

BonkzArts (already doing single characters for us)
Nick Garber (Owner and operator of Apogee Comics)
Jesse "Cadre" Hansen (Cornerstone Creative Studios)
Storn Cook (The Legend Himself!)

These folks are more than up to the task and were super supportive and willing to jump in and get us over the line home!

Plus having Storn Cook kinda makes us more legit right? ;)

While the team might be becoming a bit of a Ship of Theseus, the game remains focused, on point and April and Shane are getting it there!

Craig is champing at the bit to layout some finished pages, which he and Shane are also working on.

Big stuff still to come, but I should remind you, if you want MORE HEROIC, head over the Patreon. So far we have dozens of heroes and villains, new rules, a three part adventure, and Zenith Universe lore (often with mechanics) for you!
