Hi, I’m Tony Garcia the creator of Fractured Brain Studios.
I’ve been playing and running RPGs for over 40 years, and I have one main goal - to make FUN games.
My secondary goal is to make Dystopian Dawn affordable! My book prices are very low compared to any other company, and this is on purpose. I want max exposure to the game. I want as many people as possible to join me in the fun of adventure.
I designed Dystopian Dawn to recapture the vibe of those classic 1980s RPGs that started it all. To do this, I ensure that all art is handdrawn and has that "old school" look and feel.
The system is customizable and flexible from character creation through GMing. It is an easy to learn system playtested by dozens of folks across the age spectrum, and enjoyed by everyone who has played it. I've taken it to multiple conventions with 100% return on fun!
Dystopian Dawn is the “flagship” game, and I have a plan laid out for several more books. I launched Dystopian Dawn in mid-2023 and am constantly working on new material. I'm also working on board and card games.
FBS is a one-person shop. I write everything, create all layouts, and I even do some of the artwork. I commission indie artists much more talented than I am for the bulk of the art and covers. Through Dystopian Dawn, I'm building a community of indie creators and I showcase their works and professional contact in each book.
