Stellar Enigma is the project and brand of BLCKrabbit, a multidisciplinary artist and designer based in Los Angeles. Their work draws from folklore, ecology, and pop surrealism, combining vibrant color, layered symbolism, and intricate detail. They draw heavy inspiration from animation, adding a sense of fluidity to their art.

Through BackerKit, BLCKrabbit produces limited-run enamel pins, embroidered patches, and collectible accessories. Each piece is released in small batches with a focus on quality and narrative depth, making them distinct, wearable art objects that won’t be reproduced once sold out.

"I struggled a lot after finishing school. I’ve always had a deep love for making things—for the hands-on process of production—but I found myself disillusioned by the scale and waste of mass manufacturing. It felt completely at odds with the environmental themes that run through my artwork. It took years of reflection and experimentation to find a model that could hold both truths: the joy of creating physical objects and the responsibility of doing so ethically. This small-batch, limited-release format allows me to share my work in a tangible way, while honoring sustainability and keeping my practice aligned with my values.
