Hi, I'm Kathryn, an illustrator excited about cell biology and a scientist who likes to draw!

During my first year of art school, I made a collection of Cell Paintings inspired by the brightly-coloured microscopy images in the medical books in the library. I didn't (yet) understand the paintings I was making, but this experience piqued my curiosity, leading me to re-train as a scientist and embark on a lifetime of making creative work about biology.
