Hi there. This is Tori. This project was not supposed to be launched today, it was scheduled for the 13th. I sincerely appreciate yalls enthusiasm though! This should explain why there's placeholder text for images and charts and other missing information. I am currently trying to get a hold of Backerkit staff so hopefully this can all roll back and we can start again on the 13th. If that doesn't happen and I gotta roll with the punches, I will add another update.

I HAVE BEEN EYEING THIS PROJECT FOR SO LONG LIKE. A MONTH AT THIS POINT(?)..... I heard of ita bags and I looked everywhere and they either 1) didn't fit my style and/or 2) couldn't fit my laptop inside BUT THIS ONE CAUGHT MY EYE..... prayed the canvas bag dimensions would fit my laptop AND IT DOES 🎉🎉🎉 FASTEST I'VE EVER PLEDGED FOR SOMETHING. anyways yeah that's all I had to say I wave my pompoms around!!

We have been busy little cretotrigona priscas, getting everything settled before our big launch day, all while working at a few conventions. It's finally time to kick back and show off some of our updates.
There were some suggestions and roadblocks in manufacturing that we had to address. The first one is we unfortunately can't obtain custom plastic eyes for any of the dinos at the moment. We're going to have to opt for embroidered eyes. I feel like that isn't a big deal to a lot of people, but we just adore the look of vintage plush with plastic eyes, so that was a bummer. The second is the tummy of our Styracosaur will need to stay printed instead of stitched, this feels like less of a bummer. I just wanted to let everyone know about these small changes :3

Here is the lad in all of his glory!!!
His facial features (eyes, nostrils, mouth) will be adjusted to dark purple (Pantone 2755 U) in the final sample.

Our last update on the Parasaur was just to confirm colors, so it's not as exciting :P

I already had this parasaur update drafted and ready to post, I don't want to spam you all with a billion emails a day, so I'm including a not-so-fun update here as well:
As many of you are probably aware, the Big Boy in Office has issued a buttload of tariffs on imported goods. The tariff on goods from China has now been raised to a whopping 54%. There are no manufacturing companies in the states for most merch, plushies included. We have been working with two factories in China for this series. Due to this unfortunate situation, we will have to readjust pricing and funding goals. It has always been my goal as an artist to make affordable products. I come from a holler in Kentucky, I grew up in extreme poverty. It breaks my heart to be in a position like this, I am truly filled with remorse. I will have more information about pricing in the near future.
I had a very busy week in my personal life, in addition to vending at a local one day con yesterday. But I'm back to work now, so I wanted to share the notes I had for our manufacturer.
I'm soooo excited to see the next update! We should have photos within the next two business weeks. I am hopeful that it will be the final version of this design 🥹
We also need to think of names for all of these characters. 🤔 I'm very open to suggestions for polls.
