Project Update: Digital Release is HERE!

Hey y'all!

Grim Merchants is approved by TKG and ready to rock RIGHT NOW! Check the Backers-only section below for some DriveThruRPG links to add Grim Merchants and Androids Unleashed both to your library!

These links might come down once the pledge manager is open and I have other means to distribute files, but for now - enjoy your modules and thank you again for all of your patience! We hope the wait has been worth it!

For Deluxe backers: note that we still plan to ask for your preferred accreditation when we send out surveys. It's just your Backerkit account names listed in the book right now, but rest assured we'll be updating any/all of those names before we go to print!

For No Gods, No Masters crossover backers: we haven't forgotten about you! Digital mission cards are still in the works. Once we are closer to NGNM's release, we'll be able to share more and rest assured you'll have your sweet sweet vendor quests. Hang in there!

The community speaks! Choose the best twelve anomalies to get added to the book. Keep in mind: Polls on BackerKit have a character limit! That means that in the actual book, the anomalies / breaches will likely be a bit longer—expect something closer to a paragraph in length or longer for each entry.

Who killed the Professor? A violent barkeep seeking payment for money owed? An addict waitress in over her head in debt? An ex-business partner with a personal vendetta? A slighted brother sick of living in a shadow? A gang leader whose not against a little murder? Or was it Harton herself and this whole event a crazed plot?

Project Update: FREE MODULE: The Call of the Void + Collaboration Partner: HUNTERS!

Hello everyone!

We're a week away from Mothership Month 25! So it seemed a great time to throw out a nice little freebie module for those that jump in and follow the project. Those that are already following can grab the module straight from this update. Google Drive link below.

The Call of the Void

The Oculus research station has gone quiet, the staff within succumbing to the paranoia inducing side-effects of what was meant to be protecting them.
Can you save the crew? Find the missing Research Reports? Or will you too fall to the call of the Void!

Cross-Collaboration: Hunters

This year we we have awesomely teamed up with Green Beetle Games and their MoshMonth creation, HUNTERS: a death-game module with a tight time limit and high stakes set in the Sink on Prospero's Dream.

If you're new to Backerkit or its Cross-Collaboration tools. The concept is fairly simple. Back both projects, grab a free reward!

Our Cross-Collab reward is a Brochure Module (print & digital) called Ratcatcher! The module takes the core concepts of Hunters, and slips the thrilling game of cat and mouse into the Slums District of Terminal Directive. Offering a prelude to Hunters or a bonus mission while playing through Terminal Directive.

Project Update: Project Update: Pre-Order Store!

Happy Tuesday, everyone! The TKG team is excited to share a few updates with you on the Prospero’s Dream campaign.

First, just a reminder that all surveys have been sent out. If you have not received your survey in your email inbox, be sure to check your spam folder. If it still isn’t there, please reach out to us at [email protected] and we will make sure you get your survey.

Last month some folks reported missing items in their pledge managers. We appreciate your patience as we worked with Backerkit to get this resolved! Everything should be showing up correctly now, but if for some reason it isn’t, please send us an email.

Finally, we are stoked to share that the Mothership 2025 Pre-Order Store is now open! Here, you can find Prospero’s Dream t-shirts, third party modules and adventures, and awesome sticker packs, patches, and postcards. You can also secure your copies of Wages of Sin and Megadamage 01.

Also, if you find any typos or issues with the items, please reach out to us at [email protected]. This is the first time Backerkit (or TKG) has done a Megapledgemanager like this and it’s not without its hurdles! Any help spotting issues and squashing bugs is GREATLY appreciated.

As always, we appreciate your support of all things TKG! Please reach out to my old pal Tyler at [email protected] if you have any questions or problems. Thanks for reading!

Project Update: Deluxe Backer Credits - Printing Cutoff Friday!

Hey all!

Print numbers are locked and we are getting underway with the printing process for Grim Merchants here in Edmonton! I just have a quick word for Deluxe Edition backers - it's last call for Backer Credit Names! You have until Friday, April 24 to get a custom name submitted via your survey!

As a refresher:

  • If you backed in October, the name attached to your Backerkit account is already credited in the book. If you're good with that name, you don't need to do anything!
  • Answering surveys overall isn't on a time crunch - I just need this one answer to get started printing! If you are unable to answer your survey yet for any reason, you can alternatively just email me at [email protected] with your Pledge ID, Backerkit name, and preferred credits name.
  • If you manually reached out to have your pledge from October upgraded to the Deluxe tier, please let me know by email as above! Your books are accounted for but I don't have direct access to whose pledges have been changed. I do want to make sure your name is included!

I'll be collecting names from the surveys on Friday, and then handing files over to our printers on Monday. Exciting stuff! Don't panic, though - if you have concerns I am on-station to assist where I can. Everybody else, you're off the hook! Have a great week!

Project Update: BREAKING NEWS: April update - Mothership Month Pre-Order Store, Final Layout Progress

Hello everyone,
Quick update on where we're at.

Mothership 2025 Pre-Order Store: The Mothership 2025 Pre-Order Store is now open for projects that funded during Mothership Month. If you missed out on any campaigns or want to support other creators, this is your chance. Every order helps us dial in print quantities before we send everything to the warehouses; your support is appreciated.

Final Text, Edit, and Layout: While reviewing the layout with Golden Achiever, I realized we could add a complete section on Au Clair de Lune, the high-end restaurant at the heart of the adventure. This meant a bit more work for our editor Mark and our layout artist, but it was absolutely worth it. The location is now fully detailed and ready to be reused in your own Prospero's Dream based or A Pound of Flesh campaigns. Final layout wraps mid May.

Next Steps: Shortly aftter layout is locked, we'll close our portion of the Pre-Order Store and finalize print quantities. We're keeping it open until then because we've received additional orders (which is amazing for an indie project), and we want to make sure you receive the best possible version before we go to press. We still have plenty of buffer before Tuesday Knight Games needs the books for the warehouse.

The New Project: I'm currently confirming availability with the artists and illustrators who'll bring this next vision to life. I can't share details yet, but this one feels like a dream coming true. More soon.

Looking forward to meeting those of you heading to UK Games Expo in May.

Thank you as always for your support.

Project Update: Flatline Update April 2026, Pre-Orders & Megapledge manager

G'day Dreamers,

Tuesday Knight Games sent out the megapledge manager about three weeks ago to all Mothership Month 2025 backers. All backers must complete this pledge manager in order to receive their rewards, even PDF backers! If you cannot find your megapledge survey, use the link below to have BackerKit send you a new one.

Grab Flatline on the Blocks at the Mothership Month Pre-Order Store

Mothership Month 2025 Support

If you need any support contact Tuesday Knight Games and BackerKit. Due to the immense complexity of the megabundle manager, only the TKG and BK teams have access to the pledge manager information and management. This includes upgrading pledges.

For support, add both addresses to the same email. Be sure to add relevant screenshots, when necessary:

  • support <at> backerkit <dot> com

Production & Art update

We've ordered the sticker sheets for the Spinal Crux bundles, and we've entered the the process for getting the the early bird Spinal Crux and NERC patches. The Organ Failure team is working hard on refining those five Spinal Crux adventures for layout, too. But what's most fun to show off is the art, right?

Check out these pencils scragend has been working on:

Spinal Crux Warriors projects

Our creative team has been busy these last few months! Check out what they've got going on this April:

S. Murphy released a new Mothership adventure, Outpost 33, set on an iceball planet (I hear they're all the rage these days). Check it out on itch!

The snow is poison. There is something under the ice.

Amanda P.'s Orestruck received a The Best review on TenFootPole, which you can read here. Grab Amanda's lauded module at Space Penguin Ink.

Also on itch, Kyle Tam is currently running a sale on all her solo games: seven games for $20 USD. Take a peek at the Playing With Yourself sale!

One of our editors, Jordan Boschman, is working on Johan Nohr's big new game Fomoria, which is crowdfunding now.

Finally, if you're interested in listening to a sci-fi ttrpg module review podcast, I release new episodes of Ansible Uplink every other Wednesday. I invite game designers on the show with me, like Spinal Crux Warriors Reece Carter, Christian Sorrell, and Waco Matrixo.

Listen here : RSS Link / Spotify / Apple

Future Updates

The Spinal Crux Warriors are committed to sending an update on this project's progress on the second-to-last Monday of each month. Like this month, we'll be sure to share any other projects the Warriors are working on.

Thanks for tuning in, and see ya soon.

Signing off,

Chris Airiau & the Spinal Crux Warriors
