We're a week away from Mothership Month 25! So it seemed a great time to throw out a nice little freebie module for those that jump in and follow the project. Those that are already following can grab the module straight from this update. Google Drive link below.
The Call of the Void
The Oculus research station has gone quiet, the staff within succumbing to the paranoia inducing side-effects of what was meant to be protecting them. Can you save the crew? Find the missing Research Reports? Or will you too fall to the call of the Void!

Our Cross-Collab reward is a Brochure Module (print & digital) called Ratcatcher! The module takes the core concepts of Hunters, and slips the thrilling game of cat and mouse into the Slums District of Terminal Directive. Offering a prelude to Hunters or a bonus mission while playing through Terminal Directive.
As a cross collaboration with All On Red by Glue Trap Games each team made a small tie-in adventure for one another's Mothership Month projects. When we first started brain storming we settled on making a pair of tri-fold pamphlets. I'm still pugging away on mine- a tight quarters pressure cooker called "Red Line Rush." In the meantime Glue Trap Games not only finished their tie in, but ditched the trifold and expanded the scope to make a TWELVE page adventure set in a single derelict company tower in the Sink.
I'm still actually figuring out the best way to share this with backers, but in the meantime, here's a quick preview!

It's time for another monthly update for The Company's New Groove, and this is a big one!
The Module
It's nearly finished!!!! With the final book coming in at 44 pages long, °Hummelgrafik is putting the final touches together as we speak, and it should be done in the next couple of days! Handouts, Character Sheets and a Warden Sheet are all locked text-wise, °Hummelgrafik will start on those once he finishes with the Module.
In terms of next steps, I'll need Tuesday Knight Games to approve the finished module and then I'll organize a test print of the book. I expect that I'll have it in my hands before the end of April so look out for that in the next Update.

You should have gotten an email from Mothership Month 2025 Team about filling in your order survey. Not only are you able to confirm what you've already ordered but you can also add any items from the other amazing projects from MM25.

Soundtrack
Jsp delivered the last track to me this week! The soundtrack consists of three atmospheric tracks as well as three music pieces to use within the abandoned PA FACILITY - C.
Patches
The test print from the patches arrived and they look great! We've decided to go with a sewn style for the 'Dance Till You're Dead' patch and a woven style for the 'Drunken Monkey' patch. We do lose some detail from the design in the 'Dance' patch but I find that the texture and feel of the sown patch more than makes up for it! See for yourselves:
(excuse my camera, it does weird things with the colours. The colour of both the 'Ape' patches match, even though it looks like a different pink.)
T-Shirt
The Test Prints for the T-Shirt also arrived, but there are some logistical aspects I need to work out with these so I'm not quite ready to show it off yet.
Cocktail Pamphlet
'Work' has been slowly progressing on the Cocktail Pamphlet and we're a little behind, unfortunately. I can safely say however that we'll have the text lock and handover to °Hummelgrafik done before we get to next month's update. Here are some pictures we took so far:
Happy Wednesday, my friends! We wanted to check in to give you an update on surveys. Today, Daniel will be sending out a survey smoke test to approximately 5-10% of backers. So if you catch wind that folks are receiving surveys, but you haven’t received one yet, don’t fret! If the first round rolls out without problems, then everyone else should receive their surveys either tomorrow or Friday.
Once you receive your survey, you will have the chance to snag any add-ons, such as The Dream Team t-shirt or MEGADAMAGE, the premium, large-format megazine from Mothership. As a reminder if you backed at least five projects at the physical level during Mothership Month, then you are eligible to receive a Supply Pod.

Hello backers, a quick update to say that while I was away in my camper for a couple of days (short review: refreshing; - cold, wet, hailing Scotland, but still refreshing) the Tuesday Knight Games team launched the Mega Pledge Manager.
You should have a link to the survey in your inbox somewhere. There you can confirm your orders and add other projects that you like the look of. There's a lot going on!
I think everything looks good from a Hippocrene POV but if you see anything (or more importantly if any product looks to be missing from your order) let me know and I can flag with the TKG team. Its been a beast to organise and they folks at Backerkit have been responsive in sorting any errors that have been caught.
Also, got some test prints of Hippocrene through, which look great. There's various colour tests and spreads inside (with lorem ipsum text) too, which give an excellent idea of how the book will look. It's going to be colourful internally with each section themed with a CMYK colour (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black). I think probably the only debate I've got is whether or not to go for some kind of matt lamination on the cover vs uncoated (the current version below), as this would be a bit more hard wearing. Always love the look of uncoated though!
